I had my first experience driving in Toronto this morning. I only got a little lost, and only managed to cut off about 234 people… which prompted 3424 people to honk at me. I arrived alive, which is a miracle in itself.
After a long day at work, my workout mojo was definitely missing in action. I drove to my hotel, checked in, and changed into my workout gear. I himmed and hawed for another half hour, and finally got my ass to the gym. I ran for 45 mins, and did upper body and abs. You know what? I was pretty freakin’ proud of myself. You never regret a workout, you only regret missing one right?
When I started travelling extensively for work, I was pretty neat and tidy. Now… not so much. Evidence is shown below.
I didn’t even bother to get changed in the bedroom…. just whipped everything off in the living room. I’m classy like that.
Dinner was quick and easy.
A PC Blue Menu Pesto Chicken meal, a side salad and some fruit for dessert.
If I must say, I’m also kind of proud of the way I’m eating while travelling. I was eavesdropping on some colleagues chatter today and they were complaining about gaining weight while away. I’m proud to say that the scale has gone down since I’ve been away. Go me!
I’m off to relax a little before bed.
As much as I love the hustle and bustle of the city, it feels great to look outside and see GREEN again.
Until next time!

You should be proud of yourself! I'm proud of you! You always manage to get to a gym no matter where you are and your food still makes my mouth water!
Today's food is no exception!!
Sorry you had to drive in Toronto on a Monday morning. Not fun... I know!!
You are doing fantastic at both food and exercise away from home!
Keep up the great work girl!
I think its awesome how well you've been doing with food and exercise while traveling so much. A lot of people would use that as an excuse to slack off... you're such a great example. :)
Good for you for exercising while away!! I always *plan* to while on vacation, but then poop out on myself and decide vacation is a time of rest. lol I know you're not on vacation, but still, great job on the workout! Food looks wonderful too!
Great job on the food and driving...Driving in the GTA like I do everyday has given me serious road rage.
I think its awesome that after being away from home for so long that you are losing weight, you rock Amy!!!
Dang girl, it's great that your weight is going down! You are doing a great job of making yourself a priority even during your busy travels! Keep it up :)
Lost weight while travelling?? You go girl!
You rock! I love that "you never regret working out only regret missing a workout." SO true.
Enjoy the good ol' country! I can definitely relate to missing green.
