Days go by

My day looked like this:

  • 6h45: Wake up
  • 7h3o: Depart for the office
  • 7h45: Procure a coffee
  • 7h46: spill coffee all over myself
  • 8h-1h30: work
  • 1h35: Procure Subway for lunch, eat it at my desk, while working
  • 2h-8pm: work
  • 8h15: hit the gym, run for 40 mins, do a mini total body workout
  • 9h15: go out to buy some food (no time for the grocery store AGAIN)
  • 9h45: Decide I don’t want to eat out again, so I buy a loaf of bread and some veggies and settle on this:

BBQ Baked beans (I ate about 4 bites, they’re gross) 2 slices of toast, carrots/hummus and my salad from Fresh (too full to eat it last night!) Pretty gross meal, but it filled me up.

Odd aside: Yesterday we had a fire drill. My new office is on the 37th floor. I had to walk down 37 flights of stairs in 3 inch stilettos. Not only did I need to perform minor surgery on them after my shoes murdered my feet, but my legs are actually SORE today from walking down all the stairs. Weird eh?

I need to get tidied up, and hit the sack. I’m really looking forward to the weekend. I need to get organized which help immensely in establishing a routine I think. Lates!

Long day! I can relate- but serious kudos for not just going home and hitting the sack. I know how tempting that is. :-D

Wow, can't believe that about the fire drill!! What a hastle! What about people who can't walk well, or are extremely out of shape? Did they too have to take all those steps? Good job on trying to eat healthy!

I don't think it's weird your legs are sore from walking down all those stairs, it just means that you are using muscles you don't normally use. See I found this out the hard was when I was climbing in the German Alps, sure going up was hard but who knew that I would have more of a workout in my legs when going down the path!

Ouchie. Knowing it was a drill I think I would have been tempted to remove my shoes. That must have been killer. Those long days must be tough. I don't envy you them.

Mmmm, I love Baked Beans (Busch's is the best!). Might have to have some this weekend.

I just want to say that you are an inspiration to me. Seeing where you started and where you have ended up gives me alot of motivation. I am starting out at the same weight you started and I cannot wait till I am 100 lbs down and am on my way to skinny. Love reading blogs where I can relate to someone and I just wanna say thank you for sharing everything you do with us!

Oh man..you should walk up those stairs every day! Beats the gym lol. I hear in France..most women take the stairs instead of elevators (I mean everyone tells us we should but..I never really do) I should take my own advice :P

p.s I think your dinner looks yummy. I love bbq beans :)

You should try soy beans in tomato sauce. They are loaded with protein (20g per serving) and super filling. I just discovered them as a meat alternative and I am hooked!!
