My friend Amie and I had a sleepover last night, as her hubby was out of town.
Amie is an amazing cook, so I showed up with my camera with good intentions of sharing the amazing night of food with you all.
Here’s the first shot.
And that’s where it stopped. The wine took over, and that was all she wrote. I’m going to attempt to replicate the meal she made tomorrow night, so stay tuned.
Andrew and I had great plans to go to dinner and a movie tonight. We decided to have a date night at home instead. Dinner was fahhhbulous.
Bacon wrapped filet mignon, foil potatoes, roasted asparagus, and fig balsamic goat boats. YUM.
There might have also been a dish of ice cream and a couple of handfuls of M&M’s for dessert.
Its 9pm, and I think date night is going to continue by watching a couple episodes of Breaking Bad. Have a great night!

Yum - Pen Ridge wine is a favorite. It is a great winery to visit as well. Dinner looks yum as usual.
I have been looking for that fig goat cheese and no luck so far :-(
That looks delicious! Could you point me in the direction of how to make the fig balsamic boats? yum!
