A lonely night

Today started out great with a delicious and filling breakfast. I had a package of Quaker Weight Control Banana Bread oatmeal with an added banana and some chia seeds.

I had quite possibly one of the most challenging days of my career today. I received an email from a subordinate colleague that I would have never sent to ANY colleague let alone a senior officer. I was completely shocked, and I was so angry I was shaking.

I managed to give myself a migraine, but luckily was able to nip it in the bud thanks to a colleague’s Aleve stash in her purse.

I went to spin class, and had a GREAT workout. The staff at Goodlife Huntsville are so friendly and welcoming.

I picked up a quick dinner as I wasn’t really feeling like making anything.

Salad with leftover Balsamic Chicken from Kelsey’s (dinner from  last night) and some spicy California rolls.

Something sweet to finish of the meal, strawberries and kiwi.

I’m rocking the healthy eats. I’m proud to say that I’ve been on track for 10 days, and rocking my workouts.

On tap for the rest of the night: Early to bed. I haven’t slept well in the last 2 nights….. and its finally catching up. My migraine is still lingering so I’m going to pop some more Aleve and hit the sack early.

After the miserable day I had today, I’m craving some smootches from my husband and  snuggles from my fur babies. I’ve only been gone for 4 days. Please remind me that  I’m going to make it.

You definitely can make it through.

So proud of you and your healthy eats on the road. Way to turn what could have been a bad day into a good one :)

The e-mail situation is something I've gone through before at work. This too shall pass, though I know it sucks right now.

You'll make it out there for sure.

Rooting for you!

Must be something in the air with the snippy ignorant co-workers. Never fun!

Great job on the healthy eating. I eat much better when I'm responsible for own food compared to when I'm eating with others.

I'm sorry that someone was that rude to you! I hate unnecessary rudeness, I don't get why people can't just be polite and happy all the time.
You'll make it through!

big smootchies...it is all a growing experience.
- I think you are the first one to realize that the boxes I got for my bday are THE blue and white ones.
I actually shrieked when he gave them to me...

Oh Amy, not easy but remind yourself why you are doing this, probably to achieve your career goals right?

Well on the bright side of things, you are really inspiring me to maintain my health program, I've exercised everyday this week so far and I even had FISH (big sacrifice) twice this week for lunch!!!

Hang in there Lady, you will make it:)

Not only will you get through it - you'll kick ass doing it! When I went to Vancouver I missed my home team so much too and I was only gone for a month - but the time will start to fly by and you'll be back faster than you can imagine!
Don't let the nonsense from others get you down - you are way better than that chickie!

You'll make it through! You already proved that by not giving into the stress eating. You did fabulously! And I know how you feel about mean co-workers. It sucks. But remember you're the better person. :)
