I decided to pull a Jaime and work from home for the following reasons:
- I can’t really walk
- I can’t really wear shoes
- I can’t really drive – especially since I drive standard and both my legs are gimpy
That being said, I’m having some issues connecting remotely so I might go into the office later on.
The best parts about working from home are:
- I can make a delicious breakfast
- I can multi-task
- I don’t have to answer my ringing phone
- I can blog!!
The worst parts about working from home are:
- I don’t have any coffee
- The fur-children will not GET OFF OF ME
- I get easily distracted
Breakfast was quite excellent.
Gingerbread tea with a squirt of honey – tea bag left in. I like me tea STRONG.![]()
4 haaaa-uge strawberries.
Pumpkin oats: 1/3 cup oats, 1/3 cup water, 1/3 cup skim milk, 1 banana, 1/3 cup pumpkin. Toppings: raisins, pumpkin seeds, chia seeds and coconut. YUM.
Even though I just wrote about not having to answer my ringing phone, work has called like 13 times in the last hour. My colleague offered to come and pick me up… so I think I should go in
TTFN.

oh boo i hope everything works out!
Looks like a yummy breakfast. Hope you are feeling better soon!
They tracked you down, eh? Maybe they knew what sort of a day you were planning...
I hope you don't have to walk much at work!
The fur babies will be disappointed their day at home with you has been cut short :)
Get well!
oh Amy, i just read yesterday's post, so sorry you had a fall. Looks so painful.
I don't know how you survived without coffee, I couldn't do it!
I hope you dont' have to move around much at work, if you do go in, and I hope you heal very fast, that fall was nasty!
Amy, I nominated your blog for an award. :) Details are on my last blog post.
I am so jealous about you being able to work from home. I would so be sitting in my pajamas if I could do that. I tried to get my boss to let me do that but it didn't happen.
I hope you are better soon!!
