Some point form action on this Sunday evening.
- I feel asleep at 8:00pm last night and woke up at 9:00am today. CRAZY.
- I ran 13k. It was a little boring, and I struggled mentally the entire time. But I did it.
- Made plans to meet MIL at The Keg for lunch.
- Turns out The Keg isn’t open for lunch, so we went to Red Lobster.
- I had a salad, coconut shrimp and one of those delicious biscuits.
- We went to test drive cars.
- Turns out car dealerships aren’t open on Sunday’s. Who knew?
My mojo is lacking in the following categories lately:
- Food: I’ve been totally over eating. Make it stop. Please.
- Making it to the gym: This is partly because of work, but lets be honest if I REALLY wanted to make it there I would.
- Cleaning: My house is NOT clean right now and this makes me cringe.
- Tolerance: I’m referring to my husband. I’m NOT tolerant of his eating sound effects and lately its making me SNAP. (he’s currently drinking milk out of a straw and sucking the insides of of an orange as I type this and I want to punch him in the face)
- Blogging: I feel like I’m boring the shit out of all you guys. My apologies.
Time to watch the Oscars. Lets hope I’m in better humour tomorrow.

Aww, sorry it's going roughly lately. We all have those days/weeks! Just take it easy and you'll come around mentally and physically when you're good and ready :)
OMG, I've been feeling the same way about my husband! I don't know if his manners have gotten worse or I am just being a b*tch! I think it's the manners... ;)
Hang in there, Amy. Tomorrow will be better :)
Amy,
I totally understand what you mean with food related sounds. I have a co-worker who should rightfully be granted a spot in the hall of fame. I don't understand why people feel it is necessary to break the sound barrier while eating. YUCK!
Congrats on the amazing run today!
PS: you are not boring the shit out of us.
Carla
ames, you're not boring us! rough times happen to all of us especially during the mid-january to mid-march time of year.. btw, i asked on another comment but maybe u missed it.. where do u get the cilantro in a tube? im in qc too and cant find it...
Your very much not boring - I found your blog a few weeks ago and am now a follower!
I think everyone is in such a funk right now - I am having a hard time refocusing. I was making such great strides - 18lbs down and now Im in a funk!!!
Oh my gosh! This post totally cracked me up!!!
I read you all the time and you're so perfect that sometimes it's a teensy tiny bit annoying, but I still love you.
For the first time today you wrote stuff that I sometimes (often times) think and feel. Eating too much, oh yeah! Husband annoying the shit out of me, YES! My blogging sucks sometimes, definitely!!!
Amy - hang in there. It'll all be okay. You've done so wonderful at losing and maintaining your weight loss that this is a tiny blip and you'll be back on top soon. Husband, well, that one we'll both have to live with I guess (they have other wonderful qualities, we just have to focus on those). :) Blogging, boring?---never, not you!
You made me laugh, so you can't be boring. :)
Aww, friend. I hate that you're tired and grouchy. But we've all been there.
What do you want? Why do you want it? Can you make it fit in your life right now? Or, as Jilian once said in a podcast, do you just need to sit "in the pause" for a few days, knowing your mojo will be back?
There is a package traveling in your direction that will help!
Oh honey you are never boring. All I can visualize is you punching Andrew in the face. Promise you'll video it if you ever do. :)
I wish I could say I ran 13k like it was nothing. I did my first 5k in February and found that I love running!! My next one is April 10th!!
You are never boring! You are living a real life, and that's why I follow your blog.
Eating sounds drive me insane (I thought I was the only one), especially chewing with the mouth open...I could crawl out of my skin listening to it!
Hang in there...but then again...you know how to hang in there...you've lost and kept off over 100 lbs for several years! You make me think I might be able to do that someday too.
Oh, and run 13k like it's no big deal!!!
PS Car dealerships in Quebec used to be closed Saturday AND Sunday...I don't know if they still are. Don't they realize that's when most people have time to go look at cars? Where's the logic?
On a good day the sound of other people eating makes me cring and want to be sick. When my husband slurpes his food like soup, and its not soup (say a cookie and its crumbs) I give him the meanest look (never intentionally) but it drives me up the wall. Also teeth chomping grosses me out (like when someone eats a sandwich).
I feel your pain. Don't worry today is the start of a new week, get back on the horse! Cheers!
Your not boring me! :)
Ditto on everything, especially the wet eating sounds (the highest of my pet peaves, close only to the noise people make with their nose when they SHOULD REALLY BE BLOWING IT!)
Hang in there, spring is almost here and will erase the winter blahs!
