Andrew and I had a great day together at Mt Saint Marie. I’m so glad we bit the bullet and bought him downhill equipment. I enjoy it is much, but he never had any equipment so we never went. Now that he has all the equipment, I can see us making it something we do quite frequently. Its something we can enjoy together, and that’ s what I like the most! :)
Before we left I had a smoothie and a WW bun toasted with peanut butter.
Lunch was a ham/cheese sammich, 1/2 a cookie and a diet pepsi.
We had such a great day. The conditions were great!
We took a little break to give the legs a break and hydrate. His and hers… water for me, Gatorade for him.
Everyone was enjoying the sun!
We packed it up at about 3:00pm to avoid driving home with the rest of the mountain. I hope it stays cold so we can go again next weekend!
I decided to make us some his/hers homemade pizza for supper.
His: Tomato paste, Pepperoni, mushrooms, peppers and old cheddar.
Hers: Alfredo sauce, spinach, broccoli, mushrooms and old cheddar.
Served with a side of broccoli. Yah, they don’t really “go” together, but I love pizza and I love broccoli. So, it worked for me.
All the fresh air today must have done a number on my, I I cannot believe how wiped I am! We’re going to put on a movie and chill.
A perfect ending to a perfect day. Night! :)
