No desire to cook

What a long day at the office.

I got home at around 7:00, and promptly decided a “family walk” was on tap. I had planned to run, but after a long day slumped over my computer my back was killing me. Andrew and I walked my 5k route with Jersey. It was actually a nice way to unwind.

We got in from our walk around 8:00 and I decided I didn’t feel like cooking.

So I didn’t.

On the menu:

Veggies

Crackers

Ham wrapped pickles, and extra old cheddar

All this divided by 2, minus a few uneaten crackers.

How do you deal with “situations” at work?

Is it worth it to confront the issue?

Do you feel like its worth it to discuss with your boss?

Do you think its wrong to want to “break” problem employees to force them out? That’s my current goal! ;) JOKING……… kind of.

Your non-cooking dinner looks yummy! Hope you find a way to resolve the work issues without having to cause bodily harm to the woman. :)

haha, when it comes to work the best solution for me is usually to be patient at work and then vent to a friend or my boyfriend. At least you won't have to deal with her much longer!

To answer how to deal with "situations" at work, simple, quit the government and become self-employed...that's what I did, and I wouldn't go back ever....not after all I hear about my brother and sister who both are "slaves" to the government clan...sorry but getting out of there saved my ass!!!

Work issues are tough, but I always find that everything works out as long I am honest and I "talk over issues" with the big boss directly and no one else. Getting it off your chest the right way feels better than venting it off with co-workers or at home.

Good luck to you! And I love all your food posts here...

Love the non-cook dinner. Great idea. As for work, if you think its worth it, go to your boss. If not you may be seen as the problem employee who is just being a bitch. There are times bosses are not aware of all the goings on and appreciate being informed.

I think it depends on your boss. With mine I get very frustrated (especially the past few days) and told him obviously we are not on the same page about this because of not communicating properly, lets set up some time to discuss this because I know our goals are actually on the same page. And now things will get better. With him I can be honest and be direct though. I know a lot of other bosses you cannot always do that. Good luck with the frustrating situations! They are no fun.
