Well bloggies, I have some great news. I’m on the mend!
I came home from a hectic work day bound and determined to get my sweat on. I changed into some workout gear, grabbed Jersey, and hit the streets.
This may sound strange, but I was afraid to start running. I walked for almost 10 mins before I “self talked” myself into starting a slow jog. Finally once I got going, I felt SO STRONG.
I didn’t want to push myself TOO hard, so I went back to my “Learn to Run” days and did intervals of 4:1 for 6k. It was a slow start, but I got it done and felt WONDERFUL afterwards.
I accidentally ate dinner without taking any photos. It looked similar to this, except add some steamed broccoli in addition to the parsnips.
I’m currently enjoying a mug of hot tea with few arrowroots waiting for Jack Bauer to start.
I had a pretty mentally draining weekend (ugly crying face and all) and am still feeling completely heart broken about certain aspects of my life. I will say though, it felt SO GOOD get my body moving again today. Definitely a step in the right direction. Pun intended. :)
A small shout-out to my blogger-buddies. Thank you for listening when I feel like no one else is. Your love and constant support means the world to me.

Xoxoxo. I know I speak for all of us when I say that we are and always here for you 100%
Hang in there, it's a new day tomorrow!
I hate to hear that you are sad! I'm glad you're on the mend! Running and Jersey are such good distractions, aren't they?
Girl, you are so kick ass. Don't forget that. We are all disappointed and frustrated with some part of our lives. Celebrate what you have, accept what you can't change (even if just for a little while), make a plan to change what you can, and just trudge through it. You did jumping lunges through knee-high snow! You are a rockstar. That's why so many of us come back every day.
Hang in there. Keep pushing yourself while being smart. And you'll keep discovering that you're stronger than you think you are.
xoxo

I am an emotional wreck these days, too. It must be something about the changing of the seasons. Hope you are feeling better soon!
