Shopping not fun for me.
Its when all my “former fat girl” insecurities come back. I struggle with the number on the tags, which leads to me scrutinizing every imperfection on my body.
Recently I wrote a post about having a bit of a break through about buying a bigger size of pants. I saw this over at Oh She Glows, and instantly I fell in love with the concept.
I cannot tell you how great it felt wiping out the numbers on my tag. I made this one a heart… although it kind of looks like Mickey Mouse! LOL
Who cares what size I am? I’m FIT AND HEALTHY!
Who cares about the size on the tag? When people see you, they have NO idea what size you’re wearing.
I encourage you all to liberate yourself, and get rid of the numbers.
Those jeans look amazing on you, you’re beautiful, and you deserve it! xoox

I LOVE IT.
Ever since I was younger I have been cutting the tags out of my clothes. I just don't think it's important, and I REALLY don't need that size staring me in the face when I pull on a kick ass outfit.
IT pisses me off MORE with bridal gowns and bridal dresses...I once said i wanted to make a line that only said "size perfect" or "size beautiful" on the tag...
WOOOOOOOOT!!!!
Yeah sista!!!!
Awesome! My mom & aunt always told me, "You have to dress the body you currently have." Who cares what size the tag says if it fits you? And I'd rather be a size 11 because I've got muscular thighs than an 8 with no muscles.
Now, if only I could find a blouse that's made for girls with pipes! I hate having the circulation in my arms cut off.
H =)
That's a great idea. I used to cut the tags out of my clothes but not really for myself, so others wouldn't see them if they fell out of my clothes or I changed and my clothes were sitting somewhere.
I never thought to do it for myself though..Thanks.
What a great idea! Beauty or health isnt based on size.
I LOVE IT!!!!!!!! isnt it the best feeling ever?
That rules! I so want to do that to my pants when I go home :)
I con honestly say that the size of my clothes doesn't bother me. (Just the 'unhelathy for me' weight that they represent, which I don't mentally associate with the number.) However, I think this is an awesome trick for people who are bothered by the number.
That is a great idea. I don't believe, let me correct that, I'm not strong enought to get rid of the numbers. I live by those numbers. I know it's not healthy, but I do.
Good for you getting rid of the number labels. Mickey Mouse is cute.
I love the Who Cares!!!! Awesome!
The size of my clothes don't bother me anymore but I love the concept :)
FANTASTIC idea :)
What a revelation! Thank you.
Love it! I thought the first one looked like a deer :)
I am also a number freak... I have refused to buy a pair of jeans because I had to get a bigger size than I wanted! I LOVE the tag idea and may have to try it.
haha I love that you wrote who cares! It's true, the only person who cares is you!
Awesome post Amy! I love the little heart (Mickey Mouse). I think it's great that you did that :)
love this! great submission for the contest :)
I feel like this should be in a magazine, it would make a great feature.
Saw your blog on that's fit and after scrolling through, have to say thank you! What a beautiful thing to do to clothes. I am rewarding myself for a financial goal that I met and am going to my favorite store on Tuesday...and I know I haven't been as faithful in my workouts or my snacking, so I'm a little hesitant. I needed to read this post. Thank you...I'll be back.
I LOVE it!! So liberating! Thank you :) It doesn't have to be about numbers anymore
Fabulous idea and perfect mindset! You are healthy! That is what is important!
