As I sit down to blog tonight, I’ve got the Olympic opening ceremonies on and as a result crazy goosebumps are popping up all over. We’ve been counting down for so long now, its about time!
GO CANADA!
Andrew went out for wings tonight, so I used tonight as an opportunity to make myself something quick and easy.
After seeing Angie’s blog post last night, I was craving some pasta. Annie’s Mac’n’cheese to be exact.
I added broccoli, chicken, 1/4 cup alfredo sauce and some fresh asiago cheese.
Desert was 1/3 cup coconut Liberte, 1/2 a sliced banana, ULF Cool Whip topped with graham cracker crumbs. Served with light hot cocoa.
Exercise was non-existent today. I had to come right home after work to deal with the doggies. I took them to the dog park all by myself. It was pretty much a gong show trying to walk them both on their leashes. The word “HEEL” doesn't exist in Jasper’s limited vocabulary.
They ran and played like crazy beasts. I thought they’d be exhausted. Wrong.
My living room still looks like a wrestling ring.
I’m amazed at how well they play together though. Jersey is so tolerant of the little piss ant! She just lays down and lets him jump all over her.
Is it Sunday yet?

haha - know how you feel with the dogs, future mother in laws dog comes over and all hell breaks loose. My puppy is probably the main instigator though so I cant complain too much. They get better the more they see eachother but its constant till bedtime. Try some pacifying chews to keep them occupied a little while - especially the little one. This could be a long weekend for you.
I loved the opening of the Olympics, especially with all the indigenous groups. It was very colorful and dramatic.
You are definitely in for a wild weekend. Thankfully you'll have Monday off to recuperate from all the madness.
Jasper is scary lol
and ohhh the opening ceremony. You know my feelings on that. lol
Thank goodness for the time difference. I saw what you made for dinner and made the same thing, hehe.
Thanks!
