I think I discovered the perfect solution to ensure that I hit up the gym: Not bringing my house keys to work. By not bringing the keys, this means I have to wait for Andrew to get off work at 6:00. Best way to kill time? GYMBO!
I hit up Body Combat with my favourite instructor. I kind of have a girl crush on her. She’s super fit, hot and does Iron Mans. Not to mention her energy level is through the roof which keeps me punching and kicking my little heart out for the whole class.
Andrew has basketball tonight, so I didn’t feel like cooking. I picked up a sub at the mall and had it with some Guiltless Gourmet chippies and some homemade guacamole.
I have a problem. My legs/arms are shedding like beasts. I’m disgusting, regardless how much I lube myself with cream and/or baby oil. Basketball night to me, means soaking in the bath and reading. I will hopefully exfoliate some of this disgusting skin off my body.
Remember this devil?
Meet Jasper. Last time he stayed with us, it was an absolute nightmare. He ripped down our curtains! I have a soft heart, so we’re letting him stay with us again for the weekend. His owners are away in Cuba. The woman that's sitting him right now is going away, so we’re trying not kill watching him. Good news is, Jersey and him get a long pretty well so at least she’ll be happy for the weekend.
I shall leave you with this pic of my buddy Sam. Andrew snapped this picture last night. Love that little guy!

You always make me wish I could afford a gym membership... but being the chicken I am, I would likely still not go!
Your sub looks soooo good! I see pickles, banana peppers and tomatoes... I'm sold! It's my tradition to get a sub on Thursdays after weigh in. This is the night of the week I look forward to it the most!
That is a great plan to force yourself to the gym!!!!
And good luck with that little guy..he does look like a little devil!
That is a great way to think about the gym. Unfortunately, I live alone so it wouldn't work for me. Hm. I'll have to be a bit more creative!
that last picture - adorable!
that's cool you have such a great instructor for body combat. a lot of our instructors are older (kudos to them, I suppose) but not a lot of fun.
For the scaly skin use coconut butter/oil. Yes, the stuff you cook with.
my body did the same thing when we got home from mexico last november. i'm not sure why, but i looked the same way. maybe going from super warm weather to super cold?
lol "girl crush"...i've never heard that one (i have heard man crush used by a man)...
also, i used to absolutely love love love Neutrogena Rainbath Bath and shower gel followed by a smattering rub all over with the Neutrogena Body Oil (it actually used to be a neccessity before i moved to this town where a water softener is a must).
Awwww what a cutie that Sam is :)
Have a fun weekend dog sitting!
