I missed my gym workout tonight. This was pretty much because I had a 172 emails waiting for me this morning after my vacation (and I checked my blackberry for the first week!)
I arrived home and immediately bundled up, grabbed Jersey and headed out for an hour long power walk. As you all know, I’m a runner. One might assume that power walking might be easy for someone who is in good shape and can run double digit distances easily. WRONG. My neighbourhood is super hilly, and I was really motoring. I was a sweaty beast when I was done.
I was definitely over dressed, but I wasn’t really sure how hot I’d get as its pretty chilly here in Ottawa today.
When I got home my butt was already on fire from the hilly walk, so I figured I’d finish it off. I did the Bootycamp Fitness bum workout. Ass. was. on. fire. For some odd reason, butt muscle pain is my favourite kind of muscle pain. I’m fully aware that I’m a weirdo.
Onto dinner. The star of tonight’s meal was Prime Chicken Tenderloins.
I wanted to use up some aging veggies, so I turned the tenderloins into a delicious stirfry. I served it with a couscous/chickpea combo.

I’m just about to make myself a cup of light cocoa, and finish watching 24. I’ve kind of been half-ass watching the first half. This is unacceptable. Jack Bauer deserves ALL of my attention! ;)

I keep hearing about this booty workout.. I wish they sold just the DVD's.
I only started watching 24 this year, after finding out that my next door neighbor is Keifer's cousin. It was kinda cool to hear some stories of their family get togethers. Maybe they will hold one at their house some day.
Oo I like the idea of the couscous and chickpea combo- yum!
I finish almost every day with a cup of light cocoa ( I use Swiss Miss Diet (25cals) w/ some skim milk- heck I'll spend 115 cals for something that satisfies my sweet tooth and stops me from late night snacking.

Those tenderloins look yummy, which stores sells them? I leave Jack for DH as it stresses the heck out of me. Excellent workout by the sounds of it.
You are going to think I am WEIRD...I LOVE bum muscle pain!! SERIOUSLY love it...and glute pain.
I always do tons of squats so I can make Danny massage my bum (that's the creepy sounding part) but yeah a couple years ago we were making a dog run at our old place and my bum hurt like mad! I was having muscle spasms and Danny just poked the muscle and I almost died...that's a really weird story...and now we are all a little more awkward for having read it...
So yeah...
OK, I can't remember what I was going to write because now I'm laughing uncontrollably at Jen's comment.
