Baby, its cold outside!

We’re back from the hot sunny beaches of Mexico to the frigid great white north.

I’ll be sure to do a Mexico recap soon, but for now its back to healthy living.

I’ve gained a few followers while I was away, so I just wanted to ensure all the newbies that my blog isn’t one huge recap of my childhood, I promise!

Mexico was great, but one thing was missing. NUT BUTTER!

Brunch (totally slept in!!) today was glorious.

Whole wheat toast with peanut butter and jaaaaum.

I was craving the good old regular Kraft. Sugary deliciousness.

On the side, a smoothie. In the blender went: Almond breeze, OJ, frozen banana, spinach, 4 frozen strawberries, 2 tbsp ff cottage cheese and a scoop of Amazing Grass.

I have a huge day of unpacking and cleaning. How is that my house is FILTHY without anyone being here? Gah.

I’ll leave you guys with this little tid bit.

Preface: My kitties eat holistic/organic, low fat cat food made with duck as the black guy Sam has some alleged food allergies. They get 1/2 cup each, twice a day.

While we were gone, my friend who was cat sitting didn’t really abide by their diet and just filled up their dishes. Because of this, she ran out of their food. She went out and bought grocery store food, aka, crack for kitties.

Lewis and Sam have been rubbing their little faces all over the bag all day. I picked up the bag to move it, and just that little sound made them both jump off the bed upstairs and come barrelling down the stairs meowing like crazy. Little do they know, their week of vacation is over too!
