Spoiled ROTTEN!

Today was rough to start, but ended very happy.

Andrew and I travelled to my hometown to say goodbye to Gramma T. My step-mom delivered an absolutely beautiful and heart warming eulogy. My heart really goes out to my stepmom and step siblings during this difficult time.

My Dad gave me a wonderful Christmas gift, especially given my new love for photography.

I went to set it up last weekend, but it was missing the stand that holds it up. On the way back from the funeral we went to the Sony Store where the gentleman working were AMAZING. No questions asked, they just gave me one out of another kit. I’m not used to getting such fahhhbulous customer service. Thank you Sony Store. I was just happy to get it home and set up. If anyone’s shopping for a digital frame I HIGHLY recommend this one. The image quality is amazing!

After the mall, we hit up Costco with the intention of buying ginormous packages of brussels, broccoli and chicken. But look what we found? Truth be told, we’ve been looking for a Wii since Christmas but there were pretty much sold out all over Ottawa.

Andrew also took me shopping to buy my anniversary present! It came in this:

IMG_1910 IMG_1919And looks like this. I’m in LOVE!  I thought I wanted the one with the heart charm, but I found it to me a little too dangly. I am so thrilled with my choice. THANK YOU ANDREW! xoox IMG_1922 IMG_1925

Dinner was easy peesy. Leftover pork chop, roasted butternut squash and brussels and steamed broccoli.  IMG_1939

I’m feeling a little guilty for all the indulgences in my life of late. I was having some buyers remorse (I ALWAYS get this!) earlier and Andrew pointed out that we NEVER treat ourselves. My income has almost doubled in the last couple of years but sometimes I feel like I live like a  student. Gotta live a little right?

Time didn’t really allow any exercise today… but my eating has been spot on so I’m not too worried about the caloric deficit. I’m totally on track.

Andrew caught a special moment between my girl and I today. Thought I’d share. :)

Have a wonderful evening bloggies. Health and fitness blogging to resume tomorrow… :)

I have the heart charm one and you are right, it is WAY dangly and it definitely gets in the way!! I love the oval one!!

Andrew is right, sometimes you do just need to treat yourself!!!! You work hard for your money and you should enjoy it sometimes instead of always worrying about bills and whatnot!!

Enjoy the wii fit!

I'm glad the day ended rather well. You must be exhausted tonight! I'm glad you treated yourself... everyone should! The Wii is a wonderful investment! It's the ONLY video game I like!!

Your bracelet is GORGEOUS... Happy anniversary!

Your food looks scrumptious as always!!

What a great day. The bracelet is amazingly sweet and beautiful and I am so jealous of your digital photo frame. I got one of lesser quality on Black Friday.

Oh, and you are going to LOVE the Wii. I am addicted!

I have a Wii, but never play it...maybe you will find a game that is awesome and tell us about it?

We have been a bit indulgent lately, and if you can afford it...DO IT.

I always get buyer's remorse, too. We just bought a flat-screen TV (don't have it yet, though). I feel/felt the same way. We rarely treat ourselves as well.

I want a Wii, though! Was it a comparable price to everywhere else?

You deserve to treat yourself...you work hard and you deserve every treat you get....

My heart charm Tiffany bracelet drives me nuts for that exact reason....it clangs on everything...i almost never wear it... You made the right choice.

Wow sounds like you had Christmas after Christmas :)
You cannot be all work and no play, so I agree, you must reward yourself from time to time...

PS: please send me the recipe for your salad in a glass.

Thanks,
MFO
