Shredded Maple Walnut Brussels

I’ve had a couple requests for the recipe for shredded brussels.

They are so simple!

1. Finely chop your brussels (maybe 10 or 15) or give them a whirl in the food processor

2. Add some oil to your sautee pan (maybe 3 tbsp)

3. Add some minced garlic (1 tbsp) and sautée for about 30 seconds

4. Add brussels and sautée until crispy

5. Add maple syrup (2 tbsp) and some pecans (2 tbsp) or walnuts and warm through.

*Measurements are a ballpark as I don’t really measure much! :)

I'm thinking this might be the way to get my 13 year old to eat brussels sprouts. I don't even have to tell her what it is. Heh Heh Heh (that's my evil laugh)

Sounds AHHHHMAZING! Can't wait to try!! You're super inspirational, Amy! I've just started my own blog, in hopes of using it to aid in losing some major poundage - check it out if you get a chance!

I love brussel sprouts straight up, but since I have a sugar shack I might just try this recipe with my maple syrup :p
I've been OP all week, and exercised all week also, just like I like it!
I plan to go cross-country skiing in my woods with my Bella this afternoon, it will be lovely!

Thanks Amy
