schweaty beast

Today was a chaotic day… so chaotic in fact I barely even had time to eat!

I got stuck late at work, and thought I missed Body Attack. Luckily the class was actually at 5h30 not 4h30 so I was able to make it.

The class was so packed that the floors were coated in moisture, the mirrors were all fogged over, and 3 people slipped and fell. I should also note I was sweating so much that even my knees and shins were sweating. Gross, but a good thing I suppose!

I came home and had the most glorious shower ever. Took the time to exfoliate and moisturize afterwards. I’m now silky and smooth, and smell like mint chocolate! HEAVEN!

I’ve been pounding back the H20 all evening trying to replenish the fluid I sweated out tonight.

Lately I haven’t really been feeling the kitchen.  Usually I loooove to cook, but I’m just feeling so tired when I get home that creating a lovely meal is the last thing on my ‘to do’ list hence the lack of interesting meals lately. Any tips on how to find my zest for cooking again rather than finding a different husband that loves to cook?

1 cup of Annie’s with chicken breast, zuchinni, mixed frozen veggies and a little extra alfredo sauce with a side of shredded brussels.

IMG_2055  For dessert: a cup of light hot cocoa topped with FF cool whip and 15 mini marshmallows. I know I wrote about this last night, but this is such a great treat that is so low in calories. One package of cocoa is just 60 calories… and even with the marshmallows and cool whip I guesstimate is comes in under 100 cals! YUM!

Keep my little buddy Samuel in your thoughts. He’s got a lot of health issues (the downside of falling in love with shelter kitties) and isn’t doing so well right now. I should either invest in a vet clinic, or not fail calculus in my next lifetime so I could pursue veterinary medicine as a career. I have such a soft spot for this little dude that money isn’t even an issue…. but it sure dosn’t take long to rack up substantial vet bills. IMG_2072

I am a suck for sick pets. Our cat is edging on 15 yrs old and I had a wee cry this week as he is showing his age.

Good workout Amy :)

Beautiful Samuel, what is wrong with him, how old is he? I go to a small country vet in St-Isidore, he is very cheap, however, he does have all of the high tech stuff to take xrays and all....

He looks soo much like my Mr. Tux, and I don't know what I'll do when he goes....I also adopt all my animals from shelters or people that give them away....but they give soo much love back, it's great.

Still on program but the weight still sticks to my body...friggin fat...one cell at a time!!!

Have a great Wednesday Amy!

Your friend :)

hope Samuel gets better soon and I know what you mean about the money, they are after all our kids and a natural extension of one's family. As for the kitchen issue, mmmm, let me know if you get creative ideas cos I'm in the same boat!

I LOVE your fancy Annie's concoction - that is totally what I do when I dont' feel like cooking anymore too.

Sometimes browsing cookbooks or recipes online helps me get a little "zest" back and I get inspired to cook again.

Sending positive thoughts for Samual :)
