I love our new Wii! Its sooo fun!
As you can likely tell, I have a bit of an addictive personality… so its not surprising to me that I spent 1.5 hours tonight on the Wii! All we have so far is the Wii Sports that came with it, but even that is fun! Best part is, if my mind is occupied I will stay out of the kitchen!
I went to the gymbo tonight to attend Body Combat. A PSA to all of you: Do not attend this class until the January rush is over. Holy frig, it was jam packed. Body Combat is a kickboxing type of class, so you need quite a bit of space especially for the kicks. I almost nailed the lady beside me a couple times, oops!
As I was leaving the gym, I walked by Richtree Market and a lady was dining on a gorgeous plate of fettuccine alfredo. The moment I saw her dinner, I knew I wanted pasta for dinner.
On my menu: Annie’s Mac’n’cheese with chicken, broccoli and a little alfredo sauce mixed in, and a side of shredded brussel sprouts.
Question: What are your favorite games for Wii? We are going to start building our collection. I think the next purchase will be EA Active.

Mario Cart is a great game for the WII!
I just got a wii for christmas as well and it IS awfully addictive. I got the Biggest Loser Wii game and so far I really like it. Also Wii Sports Resort is fun, and if you really want to go back to childhood pick up Mario Party :)
Wii sports resort is awesome! My shoulders and triceps were burning the next day after playing it :P
We have Wii active, Mario Kart and Rock Band. All fun!
So I just picked up the new Just Dance for the Wii. I always wear my heart rate monitor. Each song is 3-4 minutes long and all of them have my heart rate over 140 and as high as 170 while dancing around laughing and singing...my heart rate monitor told me I burned just over 875 calories in an hour of doing it....I'm addicted because it's too much fun to be exercise...RIGHT???

Our combat was busy as well tonight, than the stereo stopped working 40min in, not good for Jan.
Anyway, shredded brussel sprouts sounds so interesting. Do you do anything else with them?

The Wii sport (bowling and tennis) are my faves. We also like the Wii FIT (hula hoop and ski jump are my faves! I also like the jogging on it). My boyfriend also likes the 'winter games' and 'Mario & Sonic at the Olympics' and the NHL game. I think we are investing in Mario Kart this weekend!
My addictive personality is the main reason I never really experimented with anything in college....I'd probably be on 'intervention' now if I had...

Great job with the wii exercising. Sounds like a lot of fun.
I got my brother and boyfriend into the Wii fit and Wii Sports, they love competing with the golf and baseball games but I find theydon't share very well so I have to make special time for me! I personally love the boxing on the Wii fit, it;s a good upper body workout if you do it correctly! I also like the step aerobics but I need to buy some rosers for the fit board so I'm climbing higher than an inch lol
Love Rockband Beatles... LOVE IT along with Guitar Hero World tour.
I also just got the new Super mario brothers game for xmas. IT's great fun as you can play more then one player AT THE SAME TIME!
EA Active is a lot of fun. You can defiantly work up a sweat while playing this game. I've had it for a few months now and have been playing it on and off. On Monday at bought a Wii Fit Plus. I'm looking forward to using the balance board with EA Active.

Ohhh I LOVE Wii! I haven't played too many games yet but the Wii Sports if fun and Wii Fit is really fun! I heard that MArio Kart rocks....my brother and I used to play it for hours on end back in the super nintendo days!

We love - Mario Kart, Wii Fit and Wii Fit Plus, Resort Sports - AWESOME.
I also have the Golds Gym Cardio - only done it once, and EA Active - again only once - but it was great. That thing wouldn't stay on my leg though. I thought it was too small - but it isn't - but it won't grip my leg or my pants so it slides down. Not sure what the issue is.
oh and Body Combat ROCKS!!! Just move the newbies out of the way :)
The Wii is the only game system I've liked since SNS! It's super fun! We've got a mod chip in ours (hehehe) so we've got tons of games. I don't have it yet, but someone said the new super mario is a good one. We lent our Wii to a friend, so as soon as we get it back I'm going to get hubs to download it. I was a big time Super Mario and Donkey Kong lover :-D
This is so why I don't want to get one of these. I know me and the hub would not let it go.
I second (third, fourth) Super Mario Bros. I especially like it because you can play up to 4 players at the same time. My hubby and I spent half our vacation in our pjs playing this game. I also love Wii Fit, especially Wii Fit Plus. Lots of fun games. I recommend you rent the games before you buy them, that way you can get a good idea if you'd enjoy them or not.
We have had our Wii for over a year and I still think it is the single best purchase I have ever made. Hubby bought me the EA Active game for Christmas and I love it. Guitar Hero, Mario for the Wii are other top games for us.
We just bought the new Super Mario game. I'm enjoying WAY more than I expected to. I grew up on the Mario games. You can buy all of the classic games on the Wii store. Donkey Kong, Metroid, Mario... you name it! Good times!
You do know you are supposed to GET OFF THE COUCH when you are playing Wii right?
And yes, our whole house is addicted!

I just got Wii a week ago. Wii Fit Plus is pretty awesome! I also received my EA Sports Active yesterday. . . it's AMAZING. No joke, it kicked my ass! I was sweating and panting like I have never exercised in my life. I would highly recommend both "games."
I will be doing a full review of Wii Fit Plus and EA Sports Active on my blog later today! Stay tuned.
Also, I think my next game I will purchase will be Just Dance. (But only because I like dancing around and looking like a dork!)

I think I might be the only person in the western hemisphere without a WII. So I can't help you there. But if you could point me in the direction of a recipe for shredded brussels sprouts, I'd be a very happy girl!
I'm new to Goodlife Exclusively Women's. I just joined in November. Have you ever been to BODYPUMP? I'm interested in it, but I just wonder if it's any good :P I'm kind of intimidated to go to classes.

But my other faves are Mario Kart (so much more fun with the plastic wheel!) and Mario and Sonic at the Olympics (we have the summer version, but I would like to get the winter version too)
