hump hump hump

it feels like it should be Friday already! Today was another crazy day. When 4:00 arrived I definitely wasn’t on the bus en route to my 4h30 Body Combat class. This bummed me out because I love the instructor on Wednesday night.

Instead Jersey and I headed out on a 6k run. I ran my usual route in reverse which involved a HUGE hill. My heart rate made it all the way to 171 while I was climbing. Crazy.

When I got home I immediately turned on the Wii and did a 30 min high intensity workout in EA Active. Felt great!

Today in food land looked like this:

B: A homemade non-fat coffee misto, non pictured banana

L: leftover chili, apple, granola bar

S: 2 Clementines, 2 FF yogurts, another coffee misto

S2: english muffin toasted with PB

D: Lazy meal: Chicken breast, broccoli salad, and a pita one bun.

Bedtime snack: light hot chocolate.

I usually only have one coffee a day… that being in the morning. I had a second one today merely because I was FREEZING in the office. I have a feeling this may impact my sleep tonight. We shall see.

Thanks for all the well wishes for my furry buddy Sam. He’s got a vet appointment tomorrow so should be on his road to recovery very shortly!

Well Amy, yesterday I started feeling under the weather...I have a cold :( So I didn't go workout or walking after work, I feel miserable.
I admire you, going for a run in that crappy miserable weather, berk.

I'm glad to hear that your Sammy is going to the vet, good luck Sammy.

Got to get better for Saturday, I'm bringing my daughter to the Montreal Canadian game in Montreal, it's a xmas gift.

Have a great day.

I don't know if I told you, but when I was in Ottawa for Christmas, I went running with my sister. (we ran the resolution run together) We ran from her house downtown to a bridge where we crossed into Quebec past a big museum, back over a different bridge to Ottawa and then all past the parliament buildings. She referred to it at "running the bridges". Anyhow - I thought of you every time we went for a run.

Your activity level is amazing. Have you always been that way, or is it something you made the effort to develop? I have GOT to get my butt moving!
