2009 wasn't a great year, but looking back it wasn't all that horrid either:
- I went to Cuba
- I turned 28
- I took you all for a cruise in my neighborhood
- I got a little preachy
- I hosted some awesome giveaways
- Jersey got a horrible haircut
- I developped a wonderful friendship with an amazing woman
- I ran the worst race of my life and still cry like a baby every time I read this report
- I joined Twitter and got a blackberry
- I posted my first Operation Beautiful message
- I attempted to host a 15 week challenge - FAIL
- Andrew did a guest post while I was in Toronto meeting my blog girls!
- Jersey learned to roll over!!
- We decided to list our house and do some renos
- I got a wicked sunburn
- I discovered Amazing Grass... a product I LOVE LOVE LOVE.
- I almost got into a fist fight with a boy at baseball
- I fell in love with Booty Camp Fitness
- My old roomie and I rekindled our friendship
- I came to terms with the fact that I am a hair addict
- Went on a mini vacation to Toronto
- Jersey got ANOTHER bad haircut
- Travelled to Halifax for a blogger reunion. This time with the boys!
- I wrote a very personal post about my reasons for losing weight.
- I got a SLR!
- I gushed about my husband some more
- I made some confessions
- The Yankees won the World Series... weeeeee!
- I decided to run my 10th half marathon in Halifax
Happy New Year to all my bloggie friends. Thank you for your constant support and daily readership. The blogging community is one that I hold very close to my heart, and I'm thankful for each and every one of you.

Great post Amy. I checked out a few of those links and I feel like I know you a little better. I have to say, my favourite was the Jacob story. Fuck him indeed! And you're right. Whatever starts one on this journey is an important moment.

happy New Year! Your posts are awesome, and the challenge might have not finished, but I enjoyed it while it was on, AND this is how I discovered the weightloss blogging community! (googled a challenge and you were on the top!)
So Thank you Amy for pushing me a little harder in 2009 and thank you for the one post that has most changed me, the one about how we all need rewards and they don't need to be food! I still think about that one nearly EVERY day! :) You rock!
