Its no secret I have a huge crush on Mr. Paul Plakas. I kind of squealed with delight when I read the details on the X-Weighted National Challenge, and one of the prizes was "A weekend getaway and customized training session with fitness expert Paul Plakas at his Canmore Retreat".If thats not incentive to win, what is? :)
So bloggies, here is it. My commitment to this challenge. I plan to kick some weight-loss ASS and get myself back down to my goal weight. I will be blogging my progress throughout the entire challenge. I'm even kind of thinking of being incredibly brave and posting before and afters like they do on the show - in a sports bra and shorts - but I'm still not 100% sold on the idea of posting pictures of me nearly nude, mainly to avoid making you all puke.

Amy, I've been skulking around your site for a few weeks now (and loving your blogging) and finally feel obliged to write.
I think you should definately take the pics (and posting them if you are brave enough!) In the end you'll be pleased to have them. I've been on my own quest (started in July) and have lost many good inches - unfortunately we didn't start measuring until only 3 months ago so I don't have a starting baseline (and REALLY wish I did). So, please take the photos you'll be pleased you did later!

You totally need to post the pictures. I did it on my fitness blog, and it was a HUGE incentive, seriously!
Amy - what about taking the pictures and not posting them until after the challenge...when you can post your after pictures at the same time. That way you don't have to put yourself out there until you reach your desired goal.
I'm also doing the challenge...I guess I'll have to work tht much harder since your fierce competition and I also want my weekend with Paul. :)
Hell...I WANT that weekend with Paul too so I guess this is gonna be a very competitive challenge...lol. Good luck everyone!
