Take 2

Alright, so I’m going to attempt to recreate my post from yesterday while compulsively hitting ctrl + S  (a la Vanessa) to avoid losing the post.

Tomorrow marks a pretty big career move. I’ve accepted an 8 month assignment at another department to work on files for the upcoming summits that are coming to Canada in a  few months. I’ve described it to others as “hitting the career jackpot” and I’m very excited to embark on this wonderful opportunity.

I had an interesting conversation with my boss to be on Friday. He called with the news that my office would be moving to an ‘off the beaten path’ location next Thursday. The address didn’t sound too familiar, but when I googled it, its LITERALLY in my backyard!! I’ll be able to walk in about 10 minutes! He was afraid that I would change my mind, but I’m a firm believer that things happen for a reason… and this just solidifies my decision. :)

Last night I made a delicious dinner. Green curry served with couscous. 

I had one of these spring rolls from Presidents Choice.

I’ve often claimed to be a shitty baker due to my lack of accuracy. Last night I attempted to make ginger/molasses cookies. I didn’t have enough flour to complete the recipe so I substituted some ground oatmeal. Needless to say cookies = FAILURE!

Unfortunately Luckily I FINALLY found PC Candy Cane Ice Cream. I’m not a huge Christmas fan, but this ice cream makes the entire holiday season for me. LOVE IT.
