Run, oatmeal, bath with Edward = Bliss

Andrew is playing basketball with his boyfriends tonight, so I am enjoying a night solo. I SHOULD be out Christmas shopping, but I chose to relax instead.

Headed out for a 7k run with Jersey. Lately I’ve been running sans Mr. Garmin or even a watch for that matter. I feel like I’m enjoying let my body dictate my pace as opposed to a machine. I set the route, and go!

Tonight I discovered a new pace called BIP. Black Ice Pace. The roads and sidewalks were cleared for the most part, but the black eye was deadly! I slowed it down a tad in places to ensure I didn’t kill myself on black ice.

Speaking of black ice/fog, check out this accident that happened in Ottawa yesterday… a 70 car pile up! Fortunately no one was seriously hurt or killed.

Because I was on my own for dinner, I decided to make something easy. After a chilly run, I was craving something warm. PUMPKIN OATS!

I felt like this was a little low on the fruit/veggie side so I drank a salad in a glass on the side. Almond breeze, spinach, 1 clementine, frozen strawberries, and a yogurt.

Following my delicious meal, I soaked in the tub with my boyfriend Edward Cullen.

Its been a glorious solo night.  I crave nights like this. You have NO idea! Good night!

Boy that Edward gets around because I could have SWORN he was MY boyfriend!! lol You all can have Jacob because I guess I like my boys pale and dead?! lol Jacob does NOTHING for me I tell you. Nothing. Maybe it's just Taylor himself. I just don't see it.

Scary about that 70 car pile up. We had a 50 car pile up the other day here. Be careful in that black ice!!

Hi Amy!
Can I just say that I LOVE your blog? I'm an avid reader but don't post too often. You're a real inspiration!
Careful on the ice, I totally wiped out running last night :(

PS...how do you make your pumpkin oats?

BIP should definitely be mentioned in running books. Right after they define Fartleks.

Off topic for this post - but I am curious about your ''favorite'' taco salad. Is there a resto or fast food place in Ottawa where we can order such a salad?? It really look delicious!
Thanks

ladies ladies, you got it all wrong, he's mine! Ah... actually, I'll take Jacob this time around, Skinny me is right, holy smokes he is looking HOT in the New Moon movie, good thing I went by myself, cause otherwise my husband would've had to watch me drool a little!
And yikes that accident! Amazing no one is too badly hurt! God was smiling upon them there!
