Thank you sooo much for the sweet comments on my post today. Admittedly, I wrote that post last night when I was feeling a little guilty for being a little too snacky… and I went on Facebook and that was the first thing I saw. Not exactly what I wanted to see after a mini binge.
Good news is, I’m feeling much better today!
My new office is pretty far from my gym, which is making it somewhat difficult to get there.
I arrived home with the plan to go to step class at 7h30, but I hate waiting around. I decided to get down to business using my own personal collection of fitness goodies.
I did level 1 and 3 of the 30 day Shred. ![]()
And a 20 min session of Turbo Jam.
Samuel is in love with my exercise mat. While I was doing the Shred, every time I got off it he would promptly get back on.
SWEATY FACE!
After the sweat fest, a certain furry friend of mine required some exercise so I bundled up to take her for a power walk. Its –18 in Ottawa today, and I swear to god the wind was in my face no matter which direction I was walking. I don’t use the term power walk lightly, we friggin motored to keep warm! BRRR!
569 calories were burned with the combo of exercise tonight. WOO! I found it interesting that Level 1 of the Shred burned 170 calories and the Level 3 burned a little over 200. I’d been over estimating it BIG TIME!
Dinner was delicious. Balsamic chicken, broccoli, brussels and 1/3 cup couscous. I know you’re likely sick of seeing broccoli and brussels, but I buy them at Costco in bulk so I might use them up!
Nighty night!

You seem much more patient than I am. Any time I'm working out and do anything that requires me on my hands (plank, pushup, downward dog, anything), I immediately have a cat or two between myself and the mat. It drives me CRAZY.
You inspire me something crazy! You killed it tonight! Go you!
you look amazing in every picture, seriously your my workout hero, and I love your little workout partner, super cute!
I am so late on this one - first of all, I don't know what is wrong with the picture on facebook, you look amazing.
You are a lean, mean, friggin rocking machine!!!!
I can't believe that you did 2 levels of 30 day shred AND turbo jam...you are my idol!!
Rock it, Girl!! What a machine!! I've been working out at home a lot because I just don't want to go to the gym these days. Keep it up!
Hi there!
I've been following your blog for about a month now and just wanted to say hello and that the food you make always looks so AMAZING! And that you are a workout beast!
I would love to have you stop by my blog and hear any advice you can give! Have a great weekend!
