We spent a couple hours on Christmas Morning in doggie paradise.
Some local ladies were giving away coffee and Baileys, doggie cookies and other festive treats for a donation to the Humane Society. What a great idea, and amazing cause.
We happened to meet up with Anne, her hubby and their adorable dog Riley the Golden-Doodle. Idiot me had my camera hanging around my neck the whole time and didn’t snap a single picture. Idiot!
It was a beautiful and milk morning. Perfect for photo shoots! Usually I just show you the final product… but I wanted to show you the effort behind the shoot. Luckily I have a very patient husband and an obedient dog.
And finally, what I call the money shot. How perfect is she? :)
We managed to snap some other fun shots.
Post photo she saw something and managed to knock me over, here’s me in mid-flight to the ground!
Speaking of mid-flight, here’s Jersey caught mid air… thanks to sport mode on my camera.
This is her new trick. You say “bang” and make your hand into a gun, and she falls over and plays dead.
It was a wonderful way to start our Christmas morning together, and a wonderful new tradition that we hope to continue for years to come!

That is so cute! I love her "new trick"! Now if only I could get my 8-year-old yellow lab to do that! :P
What awesome photo's that captured your morning so beautifully, looking at this makes me wish I had a dog...but we cant as our lease says NO animals....
beautiful pics, you're becoming quite the photographer with that new camera of yours and well, with such amazing subject such as Jersey, who can go wrong, she's simply beautiful.
Awww SO cute!
I wish I could take my pup to the dog park however people are not too fond of seeing a Pit Bulls around here. You've got some great shots but, honestly, the "mid-flight" photos are my favorite. :)
Have a fantastic weekend!

Thanks for sharing the images looks like y'all were having a great time.
I suppose I should have introduced myself as one of your 'followers' on this morning but I didn't. Regardless, it was nice to meet you, your hubby and your furbaby on Christmas morning. I was with Anne and our hubbies and furbabies enjoying the winter wonderland too!
