Today marked the last day of Group Fit.
I cannot lie, I walked into the gym tonight full of fear. I haven’t been feeling well of late, and I was petrified this would impact my performance.
I’m pleased (and proud) to announce I rocked my Fitness Test today.
The cardio part of the test was this: One sprint, 10 burpees, One sprint, 10 wall jumps, One sprint, 20 lunges (knee to the ground) one sprint, 10 body drops (chest to the ground and get back up) 2 sprints.
The first time I did the test, I did a respectable 2:32.
Today I did 2:08. WOOOOO! I can honestly say, I gave it 110% percent. I was pretty much hacking up a lung, very comparable to when I did the beep test at Xtreme Bootcamp.
Here are the other test scores.
1 min sit ups: Start = 24 End = 32
1 min push ups off toes: Start = 19 End = 26
1 min burpees: Start = 20 End = 28
I also had my scary measurements taken. Much to my delight, I was down all over. Notables: 1 inch off each arm, 1 inch off my chest, 1 inch off my waist.
I’m feeling pretty great about my success, and am incredibly motivated to plough through the holidays while continuing to shrink!
A huge thank you once again to the incredible Carolyn. It was evident what a lot of thought she put into each class as each one was completely different. I loved all the variety. She was a huge motivator, and has a hawt body that motivated me even more. Especially on the day she rocked her new lulu top. (Sorry Carolyn, I had to!)
Andrew plays basketball on Wednesday nights, so I arrived home and made a simple/easy dinner. Huge ceasar salad with a piece of Blue Menu Roasted Veggie Lasagna.

Amy, How do you do it? You'd leave me lying on the group after 2burpees! And you'd been sick! I wish being sick did that for me.
I have a question - did you ever work out or were you involved in sports before you lost the weight?

Awesome awesome awesome "scores". I love the first and last tests - I'm a number person so I love being able to actually have specific improvements. You are a serious workout machine - so inspriing and motivating!!! Bring on the holidays!
