Hard to believe its Sunday evening already. The weekend FLEW by as per usual.
This morning, I had big plans to run 10k. I never got in my zone the entire run. Jersey was being annoying. It just wasn’t meant to be. The end result was a slow and miserable 7k. I guess an awful 7k is better then no k, right?
It was beeeautiful in Ottawa today. Almost 20 degrees. We packed up the pootch for an afternoon of frolicking. Of course, a photo shoot ensued. I know, I know... You’re likely sick of seeing Jersey every week. But, she really is quite the ham and fills my heart with l-o-v-e. No trip to the dog park is complete without a dip in the Ottawa River, even in November!
We stocked up on healthy eats for the week, and due to the amazing weather decided a BBQ was in order for dinner.
But first: a snack for 2. Brie, old cheddar, apple and crackers.
On the menu: Cesar salad, zuchinni boats, foil taters and steak.
YUM!
It feels weird to be finished dinner so early. During the week, I wouldn’t have even started cooking yet!
On tap for the rest of the night: must wash a load of workout clothes, prep for the week, and RELAX.
