damn you Group FIT, damn you Bob!

What a workout tonight. More on that later.

I arrived home from work absolutely famished. On the menu, 11 wheat thins (100 cals) 1 oz old cheddar chopped into 11 mini pieces and some melon. IMG_3294

After my snack, I headed out to Group FIT training. Holy hell, was it ever brutal tonight. Brutal in a good way I suppose. Carolyn came back from a fitness conference armed with new moves to torture teach us. One of them was dubbed “ART” which stood for Arms Really Tired. Yep. My arms were really tired. FYI: One arm planks for 30 seconds make your elbows feel like they might shatter into tiny little pieces.

On top of that, I made the mistake of tweeting at Carolyn that we should do Bob Harper’s twitter challenge tonight at our class. And that we did. The challenge today was to do 8 mins of alternating lunges. By the last set, my legs were SCREAMING at me.

Icing on the “brutal workout cake” was that the gym was about a kazillion degrees. By the end of the workout, I totally had raccoon eyes! Note to self: wear waterproof mascara on group fit nights.

I came home and made a health feast.

Warm Bok Choy and Mushroom salad.

Heated up a little EVOO in a skillet, threw in some garlic and mushrooms. Sauteed for a few mins, then added the bok choy. Topped with a little red pepper flakes, toasted sesame seeds and some sesame oil. I added some chopped chicken and a smidge of goat cheese tonight, I’m crazy like that.

This is such a healthy and filling meal. I looove it!

I’m off to watch last night’s Dexter that I slept through by accident. Have a wonderful evening!

Bob has some tough challenges.

I haven't done one in awhile but the 6 miler was tough. That was during the summer though.

Good job!!

"Dexter" was awesome!! Can't wait for next week.

I agree with Vanessa...and will have my vicarious activity with you because I just got a Doctor imposed "Low or No impact" order due to an infection in my right shin veins.
Thankfully, just reading your activity blog makes me sweat *LOL*
