I know I posted this afternoon about Annie’s, but in fairness to me, I actually wrote that post on Sunday… so it feels like new material!
I present another healthified version of Annie’s!
Tonight I added frozen peas, black beans, ground turkey, spinach and a can of tomatoes.
On the side, one cup of mixed veggies: roasted brussels and some of PC’s summer blend veggies.
I was catching up on Twitter this morning, and I saw that Bob Harper’s challenge was “Tues Challenge is to try taking a yoga class. Great stress reliever and keeps you young. You can also try a yoga dvd.”. It just so happened that there was a Body Flow class at 4h30.
Yep. I still hate yoga. Not enough punching or sweat involved for me.
What made it even worse was that my run afterwards SUCKED. I was sooooo relaxed it felt like I was having to peel my legs off the treadmill. Finally after about 25 minutes I found my groove and managed to bang out 50 minutes.
I feel like I’m pretty boring of late. My sincere apologies. I guess there’s not a lot to write about when you’re actually tracking and paying attention. There hasn’t be an “Ooops/I ate too much” kinda post in while! :)
Its been exactly 24 days since I’ve been back on track, and it feels friggin AWESOME!

I used to hate yoga too, but the more I do it the more I seem to like it!
Have you tried following a run with yoga? I do that all the time and LOVE it! Following up a hard cardio workout with a yoga class feels really good. I do a 40 minute spin class followed by 40 minutes of yoga on Sundays and LOVE IT!
I agree with Amber...on Saturdays I run outside for 30 minutes in the neighborhood where my yoga studio is located and follow up with a 75 minute power class. You may like power yoga better...it's faster paced and gets your heart rate up. The studio I go to is heated to 80-85 degrees, so I am pouring sweat by the end:)
I eat Annie's , but never thought about adding things to make it a balenced meal , although I do occasionally add ground turkey , I don't know why I never thought of adding veggies.
I am not a yoga fan. I am too hyper to move that slowly. I guess that's the point , but I feel like it just sin't for me.
Congrats on your staying on track. It's great when you find yourself on a roll!
I still can't get over that an "okish" kind of run for you is 50 mins, like seriously, for me a total great workout is the rare hour..
congrats on your 24 days!
You're never boring. But I know exactly what you mean. I worried that my blog was getting boring when I was 100% on my game in the summer. I'm hoping it gets super dull soon, if you know what I mean!
how much of the mac and cheese box do you eat? half? more? do you share with your hubby? a serving is 1/3 box (I think) but that's a laughable amount.
I love you.
ONly you, my dear, would comment that Yoga doesn't have enough punching...maybe you should create your own kind of yoga...like Yoga extreme...I think it could be very therapeutic!!
xoxo
Congrats on continuing to stay on track. You've been having great work outs!
