Wow. What a ROUGH day. I woke up completely exhausted, and was an hour and a half late for work. Oops!
Today was the beginning of what I’m calling Operation Lettuce. (a.k.a – DETOX)You would think that a bunch of health and fitness bloggers, we would behave in the food department. WRONG.
The combination of a lot of sugar, waaay too much booze and lack of sleep has left me in a sad sad state.
My plan today was to eat as clean as possible and get in an intense sweaty workout. I’m proud to say, I was 100% successful!
B- 2 fat free yogurts, one ginormous coffee
L- Salad with chicken breast
D- Salmon, couscous, brussel sprouts and a sweet potato.
S- Apples and Pumpkin Dip (recipe found here)
APs = 60 mins on the elliptical. The treadmill line was HUGE when I got to the gym,
I’m feeling a lot better today after a day of clean eating and a great workout.
Stay tuned for some Halifax recaps… I’m off to bed. I’m STILL exhausted!

Yes "Operation Lettuce" is definitely in effect! Although you were far more successful than I was yesterday. I haven't had it in me to get a good grocery shop in yet, but today I will rock it!
P.S. No one needs to listen to this girl, I ran 10 k just about every morning :-P
