Jersey is feeling a little depressed again. She went to the groomer today, and once again was a victim of butchery.
You may recall this little episode when we tried a new groomer who confused Jersey with a poodle. Although, this time, it was more her (read: our) fault and not the fault of a bad groomer. After a loooong summer of swimming her tail was pretty matted. Jersey isn’t exactly cooperative (who is really?) when having her mats attended to, so the groomer just cut them out. Rather then leaving big gaps of missing fur in her tail, she just cut her whole tail. Poor Jersey has a cat’s tail!
She’s still cute as a button though, isn’t she? I love her festive bandana, which warranted a fall like picture!
This morning we were up at the crack of dawn to get the house ready for a few viewings. I headed to the gym to meet my friend Lisa. I did an hour long upper body workout, and Body Attack afterwards. We headed out to Starbucks after for a looong chat over coffee. Girl time is good for the soul.
I had an odd lunch, but it worked. A smoothie, and an openfaced sandwich on a flat bun topped with leftover couscous and black beans. Odd, yet tasty!
We have another viewing tonight at 7pm. Who the heck looks at houses at 7pm on a Saturday night?
In the meantime, I’m going to try to recreate some pumpkin pie fudge. I’ll let you know how it goes.

poor doggy, I stopped takingmy dog to Petsmart b/c she comes back dehydrated after they turn that dryer on and leave her there too long. We go to this lady who has her own business, just her. She is cheaper, better and my Missy stays happy.
What did they do to her tail? Poor Jersey!! She does look adorable with that bandanna on!! She is beautiful.
