Weekend Recap

What a great, yet unplanned weekend. I love it when things just fall together.

Andrew and I went to look at houses outside the city. We found one that we absolutely LOVE. Now we have a lot of decisions to make!

We decided to stop by my cousin’s house… and well, when the boys get together it turns into a gong show. Needless to say, we ended up staying the night. Andrew and Scott got home at 3h40am. Scott’s wife and I were unable to drink. She’s expecting, and I’m on pain meds so we left them at the bar around midnight. Lots of fun was had by all, including Jersey. We brought her along with us to play with her canine cousin Sierra. No pics, sorry!

We arrived home around noon today. Started the day off right with a green smoothie, a cup of cherries and a homemade granola bar.

  

It was a beautiful day today, so I wanted to eat supper outdoors. All my flowers are looking gorgeous!

Supper was grilled chicken breast, zuchinni, asparagus and corn on the cob.

Our fur babies were quite happy to have their parents eating outside.

 

This is the face Jersey gave me when I told her to go lie down in my mean voice.

Complete with H2O and some pain meds. Yes… I’m STILL puffy and in a lot of pain.

Desert was delightful. Berries topped with vanilla yogurt (I’m eating a ton because I’m on antibiotics) and a drizzle of chocolate sauce.

I’m gonna sign off… I have to do some 15 Week Challenge Prep and hit the hay early.

Looking forward to a new week. I’m also looking forward to working out… I didn’t do ANYTHING this weekend. Trying not to feel guilty about it, but its hard not to!
