Glaciers Edge Designs is me, Chantel Clausen, of Whitehorse, Yukon. I've been beading since I was about 7 years old, and received a book and kit as a present. Since then, I've moved from Daisy Chains to Semi-Precious Stones and Swarovski Crystal. While I still LOVE seed beadwork, I've also become addicted to all beads, partly through working at a bead store in the lower mainland. I've also taught classes, everything from Beginner's Beadwork to Advanced Wirework, from Peyote Stitch Rings to Loomwork."

And in addition to that:

"I'm also a weight-watchers member, and have been on and off for several years. This time around, I've been on since January 12th, 2009, and have been steadily losing. I'm aiming to lose 2/3rd of my beginning body weight, and I understand how uplifting it is to reward yourself for losing weight. I'm not participating in this challenge, but I wanted to let all the amazing people who ARE participating know how much I admire and applaud them. As such, I wanted to donate a prize, a Sterling Silver and Swarovski Crystal necklace for the prize winner to have as a wearable reminder of their amazing hard work and dedication.
