Canada Day musings

I'm home alone today, and it kinda sucks. I had big plans for my 3 days off... but really all I did was laundry, workout and work on the challenge. Not quite as productive as I would have liked.

I finally made it out for my run at around 12h30. I ran almost 8k. My usually energetic pace setter Jersey was a little tired today, so it certainly didn't help that I had to drag along a 60lb dog. Upon my return I hit up the breezy back yard to do a few stretches and some more ab work. Here's me in my sweaty glory!

I should note, that of late, I'm sporting the tank top with pride. I've been too self conscious to show off my arms. But I've decided I don't care anymore. I'm out there to work up a sweat, not to be judged. :)

Lunch was a repeat of the other day....

And look what my hubby bought me... a Cushtop by Belkin. Much easier then blogging from my lap. I'm sure its better for my posture too! :)

Not sure what we'll get up to tonight. Mr B works until 5h30... and has to drive through downtown Ottawa to get home which could make his life interesting. I suspect it will be a stay-in night as the weather isn't looking very promising.
