Body Vive Review

imgBodyViveButton

BodyVIVE™ is the low-impact group fitness workout that lets you choose just how hard you work. Using the VIVE™ balls, VIVE™ tubes and optional hand weights you’re talked step-by-step through the entire class by a skilled instructor, while listening to uplifting and inspiring music. Best of all, you finish feeling thoroughly rejuvenated – and fizzing with energy.

My thoughts? Hmm… well, I thought it was for Grammas. I thought it would be more like a Pump class, but it was pretty much an 80’s style aerobics class with balls and tubes.

Not my thing AT ALL. In fact, I felt like I needed a workout afterwards… so I ran 5k on the tredmill when I was done!

I tried it once, but I think its safe to say I won’t be going back. We all know by now, I’m a high impact junkie!

Sucks that it was such a letdown. I go to those classes to sweat, not to waste an hour. :(
Thanks for the tip though.

BodyVive? I never heard of it. It hasn't come to our gym yet. But I went to the LesMills.com website and looked it up. The promo photos look awesome with the resistance bands and all. But then I looked at the promo video and it shows all of the classmates were definitely grandmas. Looks like they took the aqua class out of the water. lol

What a bummer. An intense workout with resistance bands would have been awesome! I'll stick with Pump.

Hi, sorry you didnt like Vive. I'm a Vive instructor, and even my boss who is an Iron Man athelete got a great work out. Perhaps you should try it again, and make sure you commit to the moves. They work! Honest!! Oh yeah, and the median age in my classes is about 32. Not many grandmas!! :)
