Once again its pissing rain in Ottawa. I haven’t been able to plant my flowers yet, because its been raining for almost a week straight! Boo!
I woke up with some VERY sore biceps after my “100” workout yesterday. Oddly, I actually really enjoy being sore. Tonight I hit up Goodlife after work for a spin class and a half. I was just planning on doing one, but the substitute instructor was not the greatest, so I didn’t get much of a workout. I was just about to go jump on the treadmill when I spotted a my instructor buddy who conned me into doing half of her class. I’m glad I stayed though, I worked harder in the 30 mins of her class then I did in the entire 50 mins of the first one.
Supper tonight was AMAZING. I made the Blackened Fish Tacos from my Pampered Chef cookbook.
Here is the picture from their cookbook.
Here is my replication. Its tilapia with a cilantro/lime coleslaw and avocado. My avocado’s were too ripe to slice, so I made some guac and spread it on the taco shell prior adding the toppings.
I served it with a couple cobs of corn.
For desert: A scoop of frozen yogurt with a homemade raspberry sauce and Epicure Berry Dip topping! YUM!
Lewis and Samuel were feeling a little left out for their lack of appearances on the blog since the arrival of their enemy canine sister.
Thought I’d show them some lovin’, but they were too lazy to even lift their heads for the camera.
Have a wonderful evenings!

I like to feel the soreness after a workout, too. It makes me feel like I really did something!
EW! the Pampered Chef avocados look unripe and rubbery. yours definitely looks way better.

I LOVE your cats they are beautiful. I especially like the gray one. I am a total cat lover. I have the sweetest little girl cat named Claire who adopted us when we moved to our neighborhood.

Hey Amy! Give me a holler and let me know if you are still in! :)
Your food always looks so yummy!
I can't wait to get that cookbook so I can try out some new recipes...waiting patiently for its arrival :)
I've never ever tried a fish taco because the "idea" of it just seemed so "wrong" to me for some reason! But Brooke convinced me otherwise and said they are at every single restaurant in the states, and I'll try anything once, so someday!
Oh the life of a cat! SO lazy, but yet they always seemed so fulfilled =)
Aw! Sleepy kitties are cute. :)
