Green Monster Tips
The Green Monster has really taken off in blogland of late. I can only speak for myself when I say that I'm whipping through produce like its nobody's business.
To get a better bang for my buck... I buy a HA-UGE bag of spinach from Costco for $3.99. Its triple the size of the one at the grocery stores and a few dollars cheaper. I store it in my Tupperware Fridgesmart container to ensure it stays crispy.

Hi Amy!
I have some black frozen bananas in the freezer waiting to be made into muffins or something. Would they work for the shake or would they be too gross?
OMG Those tupperware fridgesmart containers are AMAZING!!! I got the small, medium and large one and use them ALL of the time!!! Llllooooves it!
Great GM tips.
I tried a Green Monster this morning, but used a different recipe. I used 2 Kale leaves, 1 banana, 1/2 cup of frozen mixed berries (blueberries, raspberries, blackberries), 1/2 cup light soy milk (plain), and 1 tbsp ground flax. It was a bit bitter but I plan on playing around with the recipe a bit. Maybe instead I'll try spinach! It was a GREAT way to start my morning!!
Love the tips!!! Especially the bananas!
Kim
Thanks for sharing the tips. I've been wanting to try the Green Monster but just havn't yet.
*LAUGHS* I love your tips, but I also love which comment on your mug you chose to focus on!!!!
I am PRETTY certain that Cat wrote the funniest comments on every mug!!!!
Thanks so much! I have been making them every morning...but have been going through bags of spinach like it is my job! I NEVER thought of costco! Does that tupperware really work? Also...i like how you freeze your nanners!! Stupid me, just tossed them whole into the freezer...peeling a frozen banana at 5:30am sucks!!!
Omg...I just noticed that it's my message showing on your mug...something about rubbing up against each other??? Geezz...have another drink Cat!!!
