Crisis Averted and a 15 Week Challenge Preview

I thought I left my camera charger in our hotel room in Toronto, which is pretty much the worst nightmare of a blogger who documents EVERYTHING. Good news was, I found it tossed into a bag with jewelery. Weee!

Sorry for the lack of a post yesterday. It was one of those days that I didn't have a minute of spare time. I ended up at the hair salon for 5.5 hours. Yep. Thats a long time. Its a big change, and I'll be sure to post pictures soon. Following the marathon session chez the salon, we met our friends for sushi... then other friends for drinks around 10h30. I hit the pillow immediately upon on return home and was out like a light by the time Andrew came up 10 minutes later!

We have a busy day today. One of Andrew's college buddies is getting married.. so we're heading to Cornwall, ON for the day. We're not invited to the dinner (boo) so we're hoping to find somewhere fun to eat. I love getting dressed up to go out and eat! :)

I'm just about to head out for a quick run, as I'm unable to meet Lisa for our awesome Saturday workout.

I've been a busy little bee making 15 Week Challenge preparations! I've got a couple of more prize donations including one from Amazing Grass, which we've all been seeing all over blogland of late!

The 15 Week Challenge will not only be a weight loss challenge, but I've also decided to add 2 additional components to earn bonus points! Today you will get a teaser of the first component.
Each week, there will be a Weekly Challenge. This challenge will vary in what is required but will always be related to healthy living. Participants will receive points for completing the task, and can earn additional points for photographing their challenge!

As a participant of the 15 Week Challenge, your first Weekly Challenge is the following:
Recreate a sinful meal to make it figure friendly.

Now, obviously the challenge hasn't officially started but I wanted to give you all a heads up to get your creative juices flowing. More details will follow SOON.

This is gonna be good you guys! :)

Have a wonderful Saturday!

Have fun at the wedding! And your 15-week challenge sounds great! Challenges are actually counterproductive for me personally, but I can tell your program will definitely help many people!

Hi Amy!

ChezJulie (http://chezjulie.wordpress.com) asked me to ask you to enable OpenID in your blog comments. She would LOVE to join the challenge, but can't comment because she is not a google user.

Thanks!!

I'm so glad I discovered your blog. I also started my weight loss journey at 267 pounds. Tomorrow at WW weigh in I'm hoping that I'll finally hit the -20 pounds mark - I've been hovering at 19 for a couple weeks. I'm getting back on track with diet & exercise, but none of it would work at all if it wasn't for inspiration from people like you. I can't wait to meet more people through the 15 week challenge!

Hmmm this challenge is going to require some creativity isn't it.... eek. I'm a financial analyst, we are not creative.
