This morning I was having a chat with my friend (and guest poster) Crys regarding last evenings post and my desire to lose 15lbs. She claimed she was also looking to lose 15lbs, and that she was on board with me to lose.... and somehow that turned into me running a challenge on my blog.I came up with the concept of the 15 Week Challenge for selfish reasons; I'd like to lose 15lbs and I figure I'll do it at the rate of 1lb per week.
I was participant of the first Biggest Loser Blog Edition which was ran by the lovely Angie and it was a great success, so I'm hoping there will be just as much interest in my weight loss challenge!
I don't want to reveal too much at this point as I'd like to get a feeler for how many people might be interested.
I have some great ideas to feature: Workout Wednesdays, Century Club Workout, Weekend Warrior Challenges, OH MY!
I'm also working with some AMAZING sponsers to come up with a stellar prize pack for the winner: Paul Plakas, Subway, Smart Wool Socks, Agatsu Kettlebells.... and the list goes on!
I'm really excited about the possibilities this challenge will have.

i would definitely be interested - i need to lose 10. i think i need more info though because i'm a group exercise instructor. my workouts are varied but i have to teach according to the club's plan, so incorporating even more exercise wouldn't be possible. i just need to keep my fork out of the fridge! :)

I am usually a lurker on your blog! But it seems like this challenge is just what I need to kick my butt back into weight loss mode! I've about 25 lbs to go, but 15 lbs is a large chunk of that.

Okay, Amy, I read your blog most every day. I am motivated by your exercise abilities to say the least. To join in your weight loss challenge would be an honor. I only have that last 7 pounds to lose which you would think I could get done but, well, apparently not. Count me in.

I've been struggling lately, and joining challenges with one or two friends that don't seem to get anywhere. (We all give up which is no motivation at all!)
Maybe having a lot more people who are more successful on board will help me want to emulate and be successful too!
Plus 15 pounds puts me back at a happy weight (I'd like 20 to be my final number but 15 would be great too!)
