Opening game of baseball, well Slo-Pitch technically! It was lots of fun... and we won one, and lost one.
Andrew and I are playing on a different team this year. Our team ended up getting a little incestuous last year which was fine until everyone broke up, so needless to say the Dodgers are no longer together this year.
It was a pretty crappy day in the food dept.

I'm at the point in my half training that I'm ALWAYS hungry. I think I'm the only runner who actually GAINS weight while training.
Before you ask, no, I'm not losing inches either. Gah. The woes of being a hungry runner!!

Hey Amy..don't give up..we all have times like these..at one point I was working out so often every day..that I needed to increase the calories..and weight didn't budge for awhile :( but slowly it began too! :) keep up the good work!
I think a LOT of runners actually gain weight while training. At least that's what I've been reading through the various blogs I frequent. It's as if your body's anticipating some starvation and over compensates on the food front...I think point counting or calorie counting maybe helpful here. I'm someone who GETS FAMISHED for every 20-30 minutes extra exercise I do and gain weight when I start exercising so if I calorie count, I at least can control the amount I eat...It's a pain in the butt though!
