Green Monster Band Wagon

Not this kind of  Green Monster....
The edible kind!

Seems as all the cool kids these days are following Angela's lead over at Oh She Glows. I decided to give it a try today.

Into my blender went:
1/2 orange juice
5 ice cubes
handful of spinach
1 FF strawberry yogurt
1/2 a mango

The end result was a delicious smoothie! The yogurt made it super creamy and smooth.

I met Lisa at the gym for one of our torture sessions. Today we decided to each bring 5 moves that incorporate the entire body.

I brought some kettlebell moves: the swing, clean and press, the twist, the windmill and some pushup rows.

Lisa brought squat and presses, should side raise with leg extensions, bridge with chest press, planks and some lunges with bicep curls.

Our cardio was 10 min sessions of sprints, and we did them 3 times.

We were both sweat factory's afterwards, which is always the sign of a kickass workout! I look forward to this workout all week. I love not knowing what to expect!

Anyhoo, I best get going. I have to laundry it up a notch and pack like a mad woman for my trip tomorrow. Speaking of tomorrow, I have a 20k run planned for the morning. WOO HOO!
On tap for tonight, DATE night!  I sense pasta is on the menu. Andrew and I are going to spend some quality time before his personal chef/wife leaves him for an entire week. :)
