"Thank you Lisa!" is the first thought that went though my mind when I woke up this morning to a VERY sore ass!!
16k with said sore ass was interesting to say the least.
Again, this run was much more mentally challenging then physically. The complaints were on the high/excessive side, questions regarding the route were through the roof, and pace comments were somewhat minimal. I keep telling myself that I only have a couple of months left with particular group... but I just about threw in the towel today. I have never hated running...but I fear its going that way. What I do have to look forward to, is the fact that next weekend is Easter, so hopefully attendance will be down. The following week, I'm away in Boston.. I plan to do my long run the Friday before we leave so I'll have 18k of pure silence on my own!
This afternoon was fun... we met my Dad and Anne for lunch at Montana's. Did you know they have a new menu? I chosethe Apple Pecan Harvest Salad and it was the perfect flavour combination. Lets be honest: Goat cheese makes ANYTHING taste good!

I love the 4 day weeks. I love the 3 days weeks anymore - I've got two of those in a row lined up!
Oh....I can only imagine 16km with a sore ass - YEEK!
I heard an ad for that new dish - sounds delish!
Ouchie on your sore butt!
Just wanted to let you know I gave you a lil' shout out on my blog re: your baked banana idea.
Holy Yum!
oh thats hard, frankly running 16 or 18km is mind blowing to me, I'm a 5km and 10km kind of girl... but then to give your time to help out and coach and in turn get the complainer comments, well its just not right :0(
I really hope you enjoy your upcoming quite run :0)
