Old school carb loading

With my half training escalating, I need to ensure that I eat properly the night before a long run. I have a quasi sensitive stomach, and I don't react well to garlicy pasta sauces.

The perfect meal for me, is one from the old school... brings me back to my childhood for sure!

I've tweaked this recipe for Skillet Mac and Beef to meet my tastes. My combo is essentially whole wheat pasta, italian sausage, red-green-cubanelle peppers, tons of mushrooms mixed with 2 cans of tomato soup. Definitely not the prettiest of pictures, but it sure is tasty! I think my camera may be on its last legs... more often then not, my pictures are coming out blurry!

My workout with Lisa was fantastic today! She focussed on the lower body, and we did most of our exercises on the Bosu. Highlights included: Bosu jump squats, bosu lunges (killer) and abductions on the bosu. Click here to see other great bosu moves! Following the attempted murder on my lower body, I jumped on the hamster wheel for 25 mins of HIIT, and a 5 min cool down. Definitely a great workout! I look forward to creating a killer session for us next week. I plan to focus on upper body and core. I really want to push us!

Question: What are your favorite (toughest!) upper body exercises?
