Tuesday nights always consist of spinning, followed by running. Usually inbetween I stop at shoppers to procure some refueling, usually in the form of a Myo-Plex Lite bar.
That being said, its Lent... and if you recall I gave up chocolate.
Do you know how frickin' impossible it is to find a chocolate free protein bar?!
I ended up buying a box of Vector Bars. Not the end of the world really, but it sure made me miss the sweet chocolately taste of the Myo-Plex bars.
Spinning was sweaty, running was freezing. All in all, a good night. :)

seriously???
you effin rock my world!!!!!! You are freaking amazing!!!!
spinning AND running! I think I love you! LOL ;)
Jesus, I get tired just watching spinning. The fact that you do both in one day blows me away.
Next time you are at Superstore (or whatever equivalent you may have there) have a look at all of the bars in their organic section...there are tons of them to choose from. Most are nut/fruit type combos. Not all labelled "protein bar" but most have a high enough amount of protein. I tend to try a new one every second shopping trip. Carrot Cake Clif Bars are a good fallback too.
Wow! You inspire me. Wish I had that much energy!
Quick running question for you... when you go on long long runs in the hot hot summer (even though it's still cold cold winter here...), how do you bring your water... belt? HELP ME! I need to know as I'm getting into longer runs here and never bring water with me right now (up to about 6.5-7 km) but I know I should be and that I will NEED to do so in a few months. So I figured I'd ask someone with a bit of experience so I don't waste my money on something that is crap. LOL
I never thought about how many protein bars have chocolate...but it is so true!!
Like Bionic said, Clif bars are a good option (they may not be labelled protein bars but do have a significant amount of protein).
when I get past this part...
spinning then running
I'll let you know what I think about the chocolate in protein bars, LOL
seriously you spin, I assume for an hour class? and then you can actually make your legs work to run? you are so freaking amazing!
