- I am addicted to navel oranges. Why are they called navel oranges anyway?
- I still don't fit into my group (read: cult) at work.
- My fingers look skinnier. My rings are loose too.
- I went to Starbucks today. Bad. But, good news is I resisted those effing cupcakes.
- Did you know my friend and I went to 4 Starbucks' on Friday night looking for those effing cupcakes. Thank God we didn't.
- Speaking of God. Today on the bus I sat beside an old lady who was saying the rosary. I thought maybe I'd say a prayer too. I started to say the Hail Mary. Couldn't remember the words in English. Only French. I had to Google the words when I got to work. Don't tell my Gramma. Please note, I said the Hail Mary every day for my entire time in school, so not remembering the words was kinda like not remembering the words to O Canada.
- What are the odds that I'd sit beside her on the way home too? She said the rosary on her way home too.
- I got home and ran 5.9k in 1:1 intervals. 1 min sprinting:1 min jogging. It was friggin' tough. Jersey enjoyed it though.
- I'm eating Smackeroni and Cheese tonight. I have all the staples in the house, and am lacking in creativity... so cheesy carby goodness it is.

OBVIOUSLY I had to Wikipedia Navel Oranges... My instant thought was they're called Navel oranges cuz they look like a Navel. (I have said Navel 3...now 4 times and the word has now lost meaning...)
Here's the blurb:
A single mutation in 1820 in an orchard of sweet oranges planted at a monastery in Brazil yielded the navel orange, also known as the Washington, Riverside, or Bahie navel. The mutation causes navel oranges to develop a second orange at the base of the original fruit, opposite the stem. The second orange develops as a conjoined twin in a set of smaller segments embedded within the peel of the larger orange. From the outside, the smaller, undeveloped twin leaves a formation at the bottom of the fruit that looks similar to the human navel.

I am so envious that you just ran 5.9 k! I hope to be able to do that by October. Right now a minute of jogging is very challenging for me!
If it helps, I had one of the red velvet cupcakes the other day and they are nothing special. Kinda taste like any other boring storebought cake..sorta dry...and it's more icing than cupcake and the icing isn't all that good. I won't buy another one.

My rings are loose too! :) isn't it great! my watch too :) Great job on your run! I need to try that tomorrow for my workout - I just hope my iPod holds up! I think they might be called Navel Oranges, b/c the end of them where they come off the vine looks like a belly button...well that I tell myself! Here come your skinny vibes!! You will do great!!
