Ahh.. the perks of buying cars for a living

.. just checking in quick before I head off to a ride and drive. Its pretty cool, all the big car companies bring in their finest for us to drive. I'm excited!

I've been eating well and exercising, so no complaints so far. I do miss bootcamp though!:(

Monday, October 29, 2007

1. My week of challenge starts today. I hate being away from my routine, my house, my bed, my food etc etc etc.
2. I have saggy/flat boobies today. I forgot my bra in my suitcase, and I left it in the car. So after my shower this morning, I had to put my sports bra back on. Good thing I'm wearing a blazer.
3. My exercise goal while I'm away is to get one hour of activity every day.
4. My food goal is to resist deserts AND booze. Ususally I only let myself indulge on the weekends, and this is no exception!
5. I'm still pretty pumped about getting recruited by that baseball team.
6. Don't eat pineapple before your morning coffee. Makes said coffee taste like ass.
7. Our stag and doe is this weekend. Its being planned by our best man.. and I think it might suck due to lack of planning. I don't think he realizes how many people will be there. I come from a big family, in a small town. My dad knows EVERYONE....
8. I wish I could just plan everything.

Sunday Quickie...

  • Had my last ball game of the year today. They recruited me to play in a mixed league next summer... so I'll have 2 teams next year.
  • I wasn't that great at the Halloween party last night. They had bite sized coffee crips. My cryptonite. Could have been worse though
  • Tomorrow I leave for Magog, Quebec for an entire work week. I'll be attending the Federal Fleet Conference. This will be an extremely challenging week... mainly because its ALL buffet. I have to drive there in a van full of people I'm not that fond of ethier. This will be a loooong week.
  • Due to said conference, I'm missing the last 4 days of bootcamp. I'm going tomorrow, but have to miss the rest of the week. :( Ah well, I have another session starting soon!
  • Andrew and I are going to watch Mr. Brooks now.
  • I'm bringing my laptop wtih me, so I should be able to post. Talk to you later!

Take THAT granola

I put the tasty goodness into 1/3 cup servings, and got rid of the evil temptation to eat the entire delicious container.
Ok, 3 posts (with pictures, I might add) before 9:00am on the weekend is unacceptable. Off to the gym I go!

Early Saturday Morning

1. Its official. Bootcamp has screwed up my internal clock. I was WIDE awake at 5h45 today.
2. I made this for breakfast... Fibre one, costco granola, and banana. Very tasty. But a warning, the granola is sooo frickin addcictive.

3. Not much on my agenda for today. Hitting up the gym shortly for step-class.
4. Our wedding annoucement ran in this week's paper in my home town. I'm curious to see what it looks like.
5. Not much else to say. I need to not eat mindlessly today. That is my goal.

For Lynn

Admittedly, I don't have an official Taco Salad recipe. I just kinda wing it!

1. Brown ground beef. I also make my own taco seasoning, as I find the store bought stuff too high in sodium, and lacks in flavour... it consists of: Red pepper flakes, cumin, cayenne, paprika, chili, oregano, onion powder and garlic powder. I don't really measure any of it.

2. For the dressing, I use salsa with a wee bit of splenda added. I know it sounds bizarre, but its sooo good and ZERO points!

3. Top with lf cheddar and ff sour cream. SOOO good!

Menu for aujourd'hui

I need to post this, because I can feel it slipping out of control already.

Bootcamp: Granola bar
B: pita with PB
S: apple, banana, halloween sized aero bar
L: Leftover pasta
S: 2 yogurts
D: Something mexican-y. Maybe Taco salad again. Its delicious, AND healthy.

AP's: Bootcamp.

Hello Friday, I've missed you.

1. Ooook. last night proved that I was human. I ate a piece of pie. It was good. I'm over it.

2. Bootcamp was good today. I worked hard, and was sweating like crazy by the end. Goodbye pie.

3. I think I want to go to the mooooooovies tonight. I heart Steve Carrell and his new movie is out tonight. We shall see.

4. Totally off topic.. but I do have to share this. We've lived in our house since Feb. The first night we were there, we had a rather loud 'dance party' that may have lasted until 4am. Needless to say, new neighbors (we live in a semi-detached) were not a fan of this. As a result, there has been no contact with them. There is a cedar hedge that separates our front lawns, and they rented a trimming machine, trimmed our hedge, cleaned up and left us a note to tell us, since we weren't home. I thought that was sooo nice! I got my buddy at work to compose a note en francais, and picked up some Timmy's gift cards. Hopefully this is the start of a new relationship. Truth be told, I would love to get tight with them so that we could trust them enough to feed our fur babies when we're away on our honeymoon! :)

5. Bring on the weekend.

Random Thursday Thoughts:

1) Why aren't the traffic lights on a sensor at 4h45am? I cannot STAND sitting there at a red light when there is not a single car in sight... but the good side of me can't run a red.

2) Why do you sign up for bootcamp and half ass everything? There are a few women in my class that have an excuse for everything... and its getting to me. You're not forced to be there... so why not give it your all?

3) Today, I will admit... I was quasi half assing it with a light weight, for about 10 mins. Then Mr. Bootcamp came and told me to switch it up cause I was strong. That made me feel good. I find with the kettlebells that the 8 kilo is too light and the 12 kilo is good for a while, then it gets too heavy. If only there was a 10 kilo... Ah well. I survived today with the 12.

4) My co-worker told me my ass looked good today. Yay me.

5) Coffee is delicious.

6) I'm not a fan of Halloween, or dressing up in costumes. We have a costume party to go to on Saturday night.. which means I will be faced with the temptation of candy and booze. I'm in such a good mind set right now, that I think I'll be able to resist.

Menu:
Pre BC: 1/2 granola bar
Post BC: other 1/2 granola bar
B: Oatmeal and a banana
L: Fahita Beef soup
S: apple
D: WW spaghetti... sauce made with ground chicken.

Owwwww

1) Ouch. Today is not a good day in my stomach. Having some gastro-intestinal issues, and its KILLING me.
Whatever goes in my body, comes directly out.

2) Christy was the cause of many pushups this morning at bootcamp... but pushups are making me look HOT in my wedding dress. I'll sure she'll recant the story on her blog, but THANK YOU CHRISTY! Push-Ups are slowly becoming my friend.. but I still can't do a man push-up. Dammit! Today was a workout totally devoted to Kettlebells. These are NOT my friend. I have blisters on my hands and my shoulders hurt. Damn you kettlebells. They do however, get your heart rate up pretty good.

3) I'm kicking ass. I can totally feel my body changing. Looks like what I needed was a good old change in routine to shake things up. Nutrition wise, I'm focussing on healthy foods rather then processed.

Menu:
Pre Bootcamp- 1/2 granola bar
Post Bootcamp - sm chocolate milk (in attempt to soothe my BURNING stomach)
B: Banana
S: toast with BC
L: Leftover steak with veggies
S: Granola bar
D: Tilapia, brocoli, rice
S: Ice cream bar.

Good Stuff

1. Today was a good day
2. I went to the gym for some cardio tonight. Grand total of 2 hours evercise today
3. Below, our first reply cards... Ironically from 2 of my Dad's best buds!

4. My supper; 1/2 a steak *CAN YOU BELIEVE I CUT IT IN HALF??* roasted vggies, zuchinni boats and steamed brocoli. Yay me!

Having a bad make-up day

I forgot my mascara somehow... and I have ooogly eye-lashes sans mascara. First person to see me today: "Are you ok?" haha.

BUT....
1. Its a new week.
2. I think bootcamp is really slimming down my mid-section.
3. My NSV for the day: I have this pink button up blouse that I use for an 'under the sweater' type blouse; merely because the buttons tend to bulge. Today, it fits perfect. No bulge at all. :)
4. Weekend NSV: Andrew told me my boobs feel 'firmer'... I think its because they're smaller, but I cannot argue.
5. I'm happy to be at work surrounded by people. Less time to think, which means less time to be sad.

Menu:

Pre-Bootcamp: 1/2 granola bar
Post bootcamp: other half granola bar
B: Toast on WW bread with PB
S: Pineapple
L: Leftover chicken dinner... chicken, mashed taters, corn, squash and carrotts. Can't wait!
D: je ne sais pas.

Wedding Stuff

Our Invites. Handmade by moi. Crappy pic, sorry!

My first and very rough attempt at our centerpieces. Topiary trees made out of pot of gold chocolates. I plan to add some organza under the ball, and some small silver bows on the tree part. I'll need to make about 25 of them. Plans may change.

These other items, I found at Michaels today. I loved the blue poinsettias, so I bought a kazillion... as did I buy the greenery in copius amounts. I figure we can use to to accent the head table, bar, cake table, etc.

Still feeling sad...

... and I think its because I miss my Gramma terribly.

She died a little over 2 years ago. When my Mom passed away, she stepped in and made me the woman I am today. With all this wedding planning, I can't help but wish that she'd see me walking down the aisle.

She was always so proud of every little thing that I did. My uncle Bill, who lives out west, always joked with me about me being her entire life, because whenever he'd call her she'd just talk about me the entire time.

I remember seeing her for the first time after I had lost about (30 lbs - I was away at university) and she actually cried.... and then proceeded to tell anyone that would listen about my weight loss.

Despite being a wee bit from the old school, I could talk about anything and everything... and she'd tell me exactly what she thought; good or bad.

My wedding day will be filled of emotion... both happy and sad. But I know that both my mom and gramma would be proud of who I am today.

Thanks for listening ladies. Just need to get that out.
xo

I'm feeling pretty sad today.

I will NOT use food to make me feel better. I promise.

Friday, October 19, 2007

1) I am tired. Very very tired. The combination of early mornings, and late nights is starting to catch up with me. Needless to say, a sleep in tomorrow will be VERY welcomed. Who am I kidding, I can never sleep in... but at least the thoughts of waking up naturally, without an alarm clock are somewhat appealing.

2) Hockey game was great, despite the good guys losing. Thats ok. What wasn't so great, was my supper. Spinach dip for an appy, turkey foccacia sandwich with salad for my mail meal, and lots of nibbles on Andrew's DELICIOUS french fries. I'll treat that as my 'weekend treat' meal that I usually have once a week and just eat the usual 'weekday-type' meals this weekend.

3) I'm sad today... as I'm sure many Yankee fans are. Joe Torre will not be returning next season, which I suspect will start an avalanche of change. The day Jeter goes... well, I won't get started on that.

4) I'm craving Taco Salad. I have some ground beef at home I need to use up, so I think thats what will we have tonight for supper.

My goals for today:
- Resist the candy dish that has made its way to the hallway of my office
- Drink 3L of water at work
- Go to the grocery store at lunch and get a healthy lunch... rather then the foodcourt at the mall

Thursday, October 18, 2007

1) Goooooood morning.
2) Matt Good was good last night. Realllllllly mellow though. I guess thats expected for an acoustic show, but it by the end I was feeling somewhat suicidal. It was a super small venue, and a mellow crowd.. but of course there was one drunk asshole that did a really great job at ruining the ambiance. So thank you to the drunk guy, who ruined my night.
3) I preface this next point by emphasizing that I know Torettes is an uncontrollable ailment. But at dinner, there was a man with torettes sitting in the booth behind us. Try getting though a meal with loud, and I mean LOUD outbursts of swearing, yelling, yelping. I knew it was setting the scene for a disastrous evening.
4) Bootcamp today was pretty easy. It was a 'hike'... which was basically a walk. But we did stop to do pushups, lunges, step-ups etc. My body needed a little rest, and my hamstrings are still currently in a tight little ball.
5) I think I forgot to mention this, but the wedding invitations went out in the mail on Monday. Yippee! I guess its too late to call it all off now! I made each and every one of them. I'll post pics soon, once I get Andrew to edit the photo to make all of our info blurry. I love you all, but I don't want any unexpected guests! :)
6) Oh, I have one other thing to et your thoughts on. Today Mr. Bootcamp was talking a little about nutrition. He was saying that weight loss is 80% nutrition and 20% exercise. I'd like to think this isn't true... but then I look at people like hotties Mandy and Angie, who have lost TONS of weight with minimal exercise. But then again, look at me: I workout like crazy, and the scale rarely budges. So I think its pretty evident that its what goes in my mouth that is hindering my extra poundage.
7) Speaking of nutrition, lately (over the course of bootcamp) I've been not so diligent about counting points but focusing more on eating healthy, unprocessed food. I'm feeling pretty good about it. Just knowing that the food going into my mouth is GOOD for me gives me peace of mind.

GO HABS GO! :)

Wednesday, October 17, 2007

1) Last night wasn't the greatest night ever in terms of my healthy eating. I made WW pasta with sauce with extra lean ground beef. Not the end of the word right? I had my serving... and then another little bowl later. For some reason I just couldn't get rid of hunger pangs yesterday. I'd eat, and be hungry 2 mins later.

2) My obsession as of late = Green grapes. I'm friggin addicted. I could eat them by the pound. They're so delicious right now too, big and sweet. Just the way I like them! I could be obsessed with chocolate bars, so I figure its not the end of the world.

3) Update: Skinny Bitch. I finished the book. I dunno where I'm at on this one. It had a lot of good things to say, but was very pro-vegan lifestyle... which is fine, except that I eat meat. I love meat. They refer to meat as 'carcass' all the time, and its kinda irritating. What I did like about it, was their info on artificial sweeteners and diet pop. I've been trying to wean myself off of diet pepsi... but they've suggested just going cold turkey. And that my friends, is what I'm going to do. EFFECTIVE TODAY: NO MORE DIET POP. Water only for this girl.

4) I'm happy to announce that my bootcamp buddy Christy has jumped on the 5 day wagon with me. Yay us. Bootcamp day was particularly taxing on my hamstrings. They are currently in a state of shock.

5) Tonight = Matt Good. Can't wait!

6) Tomorrow = Sens vs Habs. (Marie knows who I'm cheering for!) :)

7) Bon Jovi is coming to Ottawa. Tickets go on sale on Friday. I'm tempted. Very tempted. Jon Bon = Hot stud.

Menu for today:
Pre-Bootcamp: Almonds
Post-Bootcamp: Almonds and coffee
B- Toast with natural PB
S- apple
L- soup with hummus and pita, grapes
S- banana
D- not quite sure.... i think we might be going out before the concert.

Tuesday, October 16, 2007

1. Its official. I'm a 5 day Bootcamper! I was loving it so much, I took the plunge and decided to make it 5 days a week.
2. Today we had a workout on the beach.... running in the sand, doing push-ups/sit ups, jumping over each other and working out with kettlebells. Cold, dirty.. but fun!
3. I'm loving that bootcamp keeps me guessing. I love going to classes at the gym, but its the same old, same old every day! Ok... I'll stop talking about bootcamp now.
4. Actually, no I won't.... one more thing. Bootcamp is having an excellent impact on my eating habits. I'm eating healthier, more nutritious foods rather then crappy low point filler foods.

Menu for today:
4:45- 5 or 6 almonds
6:35- 5 or 6 more almonds
7:50- Coffee
B: Oatmeal
S: cheese and crackers
L: chicken salad on WW wraps
S: grapes, apple with PB
D: Je ne sais pas.

AP's: Bootcamo, and perhaps a wee run tonight.

Monday, October 15, 2007

Mmmmmmmmonday

1. Its the start of a new week. Yee haw.
2. I was not a very well behaved WWer yesterday. Lonestar for supper, which meant fahitas along with chips and salsa. AAAAAAND, a piece of apple pie when we got home. Did I reallllllly need the pie? Not so much.
3. The only AP's I had yesterday was a 20 min walk to the store to get milk, and 1.5 hours of baseball. Not that great, but at least I was moving at some point right?
4. Bootcamp was good today. It seemed to be particularly brutal on my quads and upper body. Doing pull-ups made me feel like a wimp. Its become evident that all my strength is in my legs. Ah well, I got a good sweat on. Great way to start the day!

Menu for today:
4:45am: 4 almonds
B: oatmeal
S: banana, cheese, crackers
L: Chipoltle Corn Soup, pita hummus
S: Apple, almonds
D: TBD. We have no food.

APs: BOOOOOOOOTCAMP, maybe the gym later. We'll see.

Saturday, October 13, 2007

Its a damp one out there..

  • ...and I'm more then content to be hanging out solo at home with Sam and Lewis. My mister is working until 3pm today.
  • I'm making a roast chicken for supper... complete with mashed taters, carrots, acorn squash and some corn. Yum!
  • I went to the gymbo this morning for step class despite my screaming muscles. Felt good to get a good sweat on. Although, I feel like a need to rant a little. As we were waiting outside the aerobics studio, a bigger woman (250'ish) was walking to the change room. You should have seen the sneers on some of the women, giving her the once over. This made me SOOOO frickin' angry. There is one woman at my gym that I loathe, and this made me dislike her even more. I pretended I was punching her in the face during the punching session of the step class. Gah. Having been that size at one point, I say GOOD ON HER, for making the effort to change. I wanted to give her a high five, then punch all the skinny bitches that were giving her the once over.
  • I do have to gloat about one little thing too. Friday nights, I usually treat myself a little. We had a healthy stir-fry for supper, and I enjoyed a bowl of raspberries with ULF cool whip for desert. AsAndrew was digging into a seculent piece of apple pie... I just thought to myself: NOT WORTH IT. I was salivating I might add, but I was so proud for resisting that damn pie. :)
  • Have a great day!

F-F-F-FRIDAY!

1) Bootcamp today was great once again. My nemesis today was the step ups. I could feel my ass tightening into a wee little ball. These weren't step ups onto a step ethier. It was about mid thigh level for me, and I'm 5'9!

2) We had Andrew's mom, Aunt and Uncle over for supper last night. His aunt is such a lovely woman. She's the one thats marrying us actually. Her and I can talk into the wee hours. Its fantastic. We had spaghetti, garlic bread, cesar salad, red wine, and apple crisp for desert.

3) I'm pretty excited its Friday. I cannot lie.

Menu for today:

4:45am: 3 crackers, 3 pieces of cheese
6:45am: coffee
B: bagel with PB
L: WW spaghetti with meat sauce (made with extra lean ground beef)
S: Pita and hummus
D: TBD.

AP's: one hour bootcamp - DONE!

** Looking at that menu.. I'm feeling proud that I've planned out a well balanced day!**

Nutrition Action

So last night I had a nutritionist come to the running clinic I teach.

She brought in a copy of Nutrition Action. Its friggin' amazing. Best part about it, its CANADIAN! I just subscribed, and can't wait for my first issue!

Each edition has a section called Good Stuff/Food Porn... a product review! Its fantastic. A lot of it is available online. If you go to the archives section you can see a lot of their articles. I LOVE IT!

Healthy Snacks for Moi!

I went out at lunch to pick up my essentials to incorporating more protein.

From now on, my staple snacks at work will be:
- Pita (9 grams protein) and hummus (2 grams)
- LF old cheddar (8 grams) and Blue menu crackers (2 gr protein + 2 g fibre)
- 12 almonds (7 gr protein) and a piece of fruit
- PB (4 gr) and an apple

Its my mission to incorporate a source of protein into every bite of food I take.

Thursday

1) Its crappy and rainy outside
2) I wanted to stay in bed all day
3) My legs are KILLING me, as are my shoulders. Yay bootcamp. Oddly enough, I love being sore!
4) Having Andrew's Mom and Aunt over for supper tonight. They've requested pasta, so thats what I'm making.
5) My last run club was great. Lotsa fun, and I had a chicken breast sandwich with a salad at the pub.
6)THe talk at the clinic last night was nutrition. The guest speaker really emphasized on the importance of eating a little protein with every carb. I'm going to try this starting tomorrow, as I need to get groceries to begin this mission.
7) I'm looking forward to the nothingness of the weekend.

Menu:
B: Oatmeal
S: Banana
L: Gardennay soup with a bagel
D: Spaghetti

AP's: NADA. Allowing my body to rest before boooooooootcamp tomorrow morning.

Bootcamp Day #2

1. Much better. I actually felt like a got a good workout. A little too much chit chat at the beginning, but I guess its necessary for the first little while! Christy and I got to be tortured in the same group.. so that was fun!

2. Tonight is my last 5k clinic. I've opted not to teach the next one. I need some weekend time back, especially with the wedding rapidly approaching. I hope my little legs are to jello-like after the workout today. I think though, to keep up my running I'm going to run with the Half group. I really want to shave off some time for the next mile run test.

3. Speaking of mile run test... Makes me think of the highschool days when we had to do the 12 minute run as a part of phys. ed. I always took phys. ed despite being a heffer, and this was always my least favorite day. I could barely even make it for 3. I was on the volleyball team, and as part of our warm up we'd have to run for 3 mins. The entire time, I'd be thinking "it won't kill me.. keep going". Kinda cool to look back and see how far I've actually come! :)

4. I love working out in the morning. I love feeling quasi energized, and I love feeling totally exhausted when I get into bed. This bootcamp thing isn't the end of the world afterall.

5. On the Skinny Bitch front... I am starting to find it a little preachy about the vegan lifestyle. I kinda like the style of the writing, not necessarily the content. I did like what it had to say about diet pop being the devil. I'm trying so hard to wean myself off of it.

Menu for today:
4:45am - Banana
6:40am - coffee
9:00am- oatmeal, banana
L: Salmon and salad
S: 2 source yogurts
D: Something at the pub after running.

AP's: Bootcamp, 5k run... WOOOOOOOO HOOOOO!

Tuesday, October 9, 2007

Today is a very sad day. My beloved Yankees lost last night, and are now out of the post season.

Baseball, you are dead to me. Jeter, you let me down.

Lets take a moment of silence today, and remember those we love.

Monday, October 8, 2007

My Current Read: Skinny Bitch

I got it for a shower gift from one of my best friends. So far so good! Read 4 chapters while soaking in the tub today... ahhh, gotta love long weekends!

BOOTCAMP: Day 1

- It was a success. Wasn't overly hard, but it was more like a fitness test.

My results
Mile run: 10:12
Situps: 22
Pushups: 35 (I think)
Plank: 55 seconds

My thoughts
- I'm not a fast runner... I got lapped by one crazy fast/buff lady.
- Said buff lady also looks like a man, and has been on the national duathlon tem.
- Despite not being a fast runner, I have good stamina. Lots of ladies had to walk.
- I wasn't in the worst shape there... which for some reason I was going to be the case.
- Christy is hot and skinny, and a fast runner.
- I'm kinda considering make it a 5 day a week event, rather then just 3. I mean... its only a month right?
- I'm looking forward to Wednesday morning when the REAL workouts begin!

My weekend in pictures

  • My shower was amazing. I can't tell you how much it meant to me to have all my favorite ladies in the same room together. Only embarassing thing was opening some VERY skimpy lingerie with a roll of duct tape that read "FOR SEXY TIMES ONLY". I had a blast. The pictures were a little disappointing, because I think I look like a whale in them.

  • This is my maid of honour and I licking the icing off the cake accessories. Her and the rest of my girls were amazing.
  • I got lotsa loot too!
  • Swimming in OCTOBER? Yes! My cousin has a heated pool, it was 87 ! I think this picture is so funny! Its my cousins 2 girls, my uncle (their grampa) my gf Krissy (who was in town for the shower, so she came to dinner) and Andrew.
  • The swimmers. Wasn't so easy getting out!

Bridal Shower Saturday

  • I'm excited to have all my closest lady friends in the same room today.
  • We stayed at work until 9pm doing our wedding invitations last night... STILL not done!
  • Good news is, Andrew brought chicken and a salad, so there was no bad take-out.
  • There might have been a few peanut M&M's during the day yesterday.
  • While I was waiting for Andrew to get to my office, I went up to the office gym and did a workout on one of the spinning bikes. It was awesome... I did one song of hard cardio, and a song of recovery while doing upper body execises with hand weights. Best part is: I FEEL IT TODAY!
  • I should get going... gotta straighten my hair! Have a great Saturday. I'll be sure to post lots of pictures!

Friday, October 5, 2007

1) Oook, so I'm at the office super early today so guess what? I can blog!
2) I'm staying at work tonight until our invitations are done, so I told Mr. Bellamy to just drop me off and leave me here. He will join me later on tonight, and we will invitation-it-up a notch into the wee hours!
3) I had dinner with a girlfriend of mine that isn't able to make it to my shower tomorrow. It was a lovely evening indeed. She got me a electric carving knife. Sounds lameo probablly but I was stoked! Now I will be able to carve meat easier!
4) I'm pretty pumped about my shower tomorrow. Its funny, everyone thinks its a surprise. I got this weird paranoia yesterday that I'd have to open up some raunchy gifts in front of Andrew's mom. It makes me afraid.... very afraid.
5) Its Friday, and its Friday before the long weekend. Pretty exciting!
6) Even more exciting, BOOTCAMP starts on Monday morning. Yipeeeee... perfect way to burn off Thanksgiving dinner.
7) Gotta get my day started. Until next time! :)

Still alive and kicking!

1) I'm still alive, I swear... my new desk just isn't made for blogging. I don't have much privacy, well, none actually so its hard to get any "Amy time" at work.

2) I've been eating well, exercising lots and feeling good in general!

3) I got my hair done last night, and I feel like a hot tamale today. Its amazing what a new 'do and sexy shoes will do for a girl's confidence!

4) Other news: MY WEDDING RING IS DONE... its absolutely beeeeautiful. Whats even better, my engagement ring is back on my hand where it belongs. They re-rhodium plated it, and its all shiney and new. Looks like a brand new ring. I can't want to wear the complete set when I become Mrs. Bellamy!

Menu today:
B) Oatmeal
S) apple, banana
L) chicken soup, salad, cadbury thin
S) lemon tea
D) brocoli, rice, tilapia
S) fudge bar

AP's: Kickboxing class, then run club.

1. Yaaay for new offices. Yes my friends. I have officially started my new position. Granted, there is no one to assume my previous duties, so I will be doing both jobs for the next while. However, I didn't move far. Just around the corner on the same floor. Much louder at this neck of the woods though, I'm sitting across from the photocopier.

2. I was taken out for lunch today, but I was good. Went to Boston Pizza and had a delicious peanut-y thai salad. But I didn't get any of the crunch toppings, so basically it was just greens with chicken and peanut satay sauce on the side. Delicious.

3. We have to road trip it to Michael's tonight to pick up some more wedding invitation stuff. We have to go to the one on the far side of the city though, because I cleaned out the one close to us! Wedding invites will be going out by the end of this week. AHHH!

Menu for today:
B: Protein shake
S: 1 timbit, and a bite of a cookie
L: Salad from BP
S: 1 snack size peanut M&M, 1 pear
D: Chicken breast, potato wedges, mixed veggies
S: 1 creamsicle.
