I'm a genius!

Ok.. so I work with this woman who lately has been complaining that she has been putting on weight, and can't figure out why.

Usually, she goes out for lunch... so one would assume its something from the food court she eats each day. I just watched her prepare her 'healthy"lunch. A toasted bagel, with butter, mayo, 5 slices of that ready crisp bacon and 2 cheese slices.

Gee, I wonder why she's packing on the pounds? ;)

Monday morning musings

Its bright, sunny and a wee bit windy Monday morning. I'm actually in pretty good humor today.

Nothing outrageous to report really... except my thoughts of the day are thinking about going to buy a dress for the 34094 weddings I have to attend. I saw a really cute red one at Melanie Lynne. Thoughts on red to a wedding? Its like muted blue'ish red, so I don't think it looks too whore'ish. I also saw a nice black one in the Sears catalogue that I might order. That way I figure, it can double as a LBD also.

My menu for today:
B- oatmeal with banana and splenda
L- moroccan stew with couscous, FF pudding
D- TBD. Maybe some chicken salad on top of mixed greens.

AP's: step class and body combat.

I'm loving Core... I find the first few days, all I want to do in binge on bread, but once you get used it to I find I'm generally a lot less hungry and have zero cravings. Lets hope for good results!

Sunday evening...

My supper: a meatloaf/pizza recipe.. originally from Eat, Shrink and be Merry. I tweaked it to make it Core. Very tasty indeed. Except for the fact I added freshly crushed fennel seed because I omitted the sausage and now my kitchen smells like black licorice!

This is Moroccan Stew from the WW online database of recipes. Very simple ingredients (butternut squash, tomatoes, carrots, onion and chickpeas with a handful of spices) but its DIVINE! I made some couscous to go with it. I can't WAIT for lunch tomorrow!

Other then that, a pretty quiet day. I was lazy, and didn't make it to the gym. I'll make up for it tomorrow. I swear!

Saturday Morning

I was awake at 6am this morning. Brutal!

Made it to the gym for 8am - ran for 45 mins then did Bodypump. So I feel redeemed for bailing on that workout last night.

Today I'm off to Bryson, QC for a bridal shower for my girlfriend. Lets hope for lotsa fruit and veggie platters, that are Core friendly! :)

Have a great day!

Day #2 on Core

7:00 edits in ORANGE

Hi readers. Its a gross rainy day out there today.

I'm feeling really stir crazy today. My pants feel tight, and every time I look down I see my gross chubby fat stomach. I hate it so much. You know that roll I'm talking about?? Frig. SOOO gross!

Menu for today-
B- apple, orange, banana
L- Chunky vegetable beef soup (was very pleased to hear this was Core!)
D- WW pasta, and veggies in a thai sauce with chili and basil. YUM Andrew cooked a pork tenderloin, with steamed broccoli and baked potatos.
S- FF pudding with strawberries and blackberries.

AP's: 5k run, Bodypump. Ended up doing Turbo Jam when I got home.

I want today to be over.

Switched to Core

I've had success with this in the past... and once you do it for a week or so, its amazing how good you feel. Time to shake things up.

I ran 8k today.

Menu:

B- plain oatmeal
L- salad with shrimp skewer
D- shish-kabob, steamed brocoli, small potato and roasted veggies
S- FF chocolate pudding.

Yesterday was not a good day. Enough said! :)

Here's what really pisses me off

My week in exercise looked like this:
Wednesday - step class (1 hour)
Thursday - off
Friday - body pump (1 hour)
Saturday - cardio kickboxing and boot camp (2 hours)
Sunday 45 min bike ride
Monday- 30 run and step class (90 mins)
Tuesday - body pump AND step class (2 hours)

*#%()*%(@#^%

Well Sarah... Hope your WI was better then mine. I'm NOT happy today. Really Pissed actually because this week I gave it my all.

Tuesday, April 24, 2007

I'm friggin awesome!

Did the double class... and I feel superb!

I also had a kickass supper. Roasted veggies, steamed brocoli with a FF cheese slice, and a BBQ chicken breast. SOOO good! I had planned for a baked potato, but opted for a slice of bread instead. Lets hope for skinny tomorrow! :)

Its a tempting Tuesday...

I'M SO HUNGRY!

Its only 10h40... and already I've had 6 points! I'm sooo hungry today... I dunno what it is, I can't get full today. This comes at a bad time because my WI is tomorrow, and today I'm trying to avoid too many processed foods.

Confession #1: I only made it to Bodystep last night. I ran for 30 mins before the class, so by the time it was over... I was just about cooked! Tonights plan: Bodypump followed by Bodystep. I WILL do it this time.

Confession #2: I feel like I look preggo today. The cut of the shirt I'm wearing kinda makes me look it. Grrr. Not taking my blazer off today!

My menu for the day:
B: all bran bar, banana, oatmeal (6)
L: leftover mac and cheese (6) salad (0) FF pudding (1)
D: chicken breast (4) roasted veggies (0) bread (4)

AP's: Bodypump/Bodystep (120 mins total)

Note to self:

First bike ride of the year = a very sore arse!

I thought I would take advantage of the weather yesterday and go out for a bike ride. My tires have an odd attachment to inflate them, and said attachment was MIA. I decided to go on Andrew's bike instead. Great workout because we live in a super hilly area, but It still feels like the seat is in my ass!

Last night was great with my snuggly new kitty Sam. However, Lewis is not a fan of mister Sam snuggling with his momma... and as a result Lewis is being mean to me. :(

Not much to report today. Since Andrew is on nights and I have nothing to rush home to, I'm going to do a double class at Goodlife tonight. Bodystep and Bodycombat. Bodycombat will be a new experience for me. I do have a hot date planned for this evening with the man of my dreams: Jack Bauer. Delicious!

Menu for aujourd'hui:
B- BM granola bar, banana (4)
L- Leftover macoroni (6), Peak Freans pack (2)
D- Some sort of mexican'ish stir fry. (think fahitas minus the tortilla)

AP's: 120 mins aerobics.

On a non-WW related note:

2 people drowned at Merrickville Lock yesterday. A woman jumped into save a young boy. I used to work at this site only 2 years ago. Very scary news, and it hit very close to home.

Pictures say a thousand words....

Don't really feel like writing a novel about the recent events of my life. I will use my obsession with taking pictures of random things to assist in documenting!

Meet Sam. This little guy came into our life on Thursday. I haven't written about him yet because I was unsure if it was going to workout between him and Lewis.

So far so good. They hissed a little, and Sam seems to think he rules the house which upsets my little Lewis a little bit. I think they secretly do like each other, but are letting their territorial instincts take over. I did find them in the pose below this afternoon. They can't hate each other THAT much if they're sharing the same rug!

This photo was taken last night at about 2am. Hard to tell, what exactly it is because the flash lights up the room. This my readers, is my fiance Andrew and his 3 friends having a 'dance party'. For some reason after numerous drinks, they loooooove to dance. The girls weren't quite in the same frame of mind as they were... so we let them go! A dance party isn't complete without a strobe light.. and yes. They had one!

Below: my supper. Smackeroni and Cheese from Eat, Shrink and be Merry. 2 hours later, I'm still STUFFED! I modify their recipe by substituting veggie ground for beef and adding mushrooms and red peppers. 8 points a serving. Delicious.

Andrew is on nights this week. I didn't sleep much last night. We were at our friends house warming party, so we crashed over. Ended up sleeping in an unfinished, freezing cold basement on an air mattress with snoring Andrew and his buddy Chris snoring across the room. Woke up on the concrete floor because the mattress didn't hold its air very well. Not a great sleep. Enough said.

I think I'll make a tea and head up to bed.... red and watch some TV.

Goodnight!

Feeling the wrath of Bodypump!

Ouuuuch! I attended Bodypump yesterday and boy and I feeling it today! Mainly in my triceps and chest. It was a fun workout though. Today I'm going back to my old gym (membership is good until the end of April) to do back-to-back classes. First one is: High-Low, second is the infamous Bootcamp. I really want to challenge my body with new things this week. Here's to 120 mins of sweating yippee!

I finally got around to picking up a box of Vector cereal that has the Running Room 20% off coupon. Maybe after the gym I'll go pick up my new pair. I'm a loyal fan of the Asics 2120. Usually buy 2 pairs or so a year. Took me a while to find my 'perfect shoe' actually. As my running distances increased I started to need a little bit more support, so when I found the 2120's, it felt like I was running on air! Lets hope the new color dosn't mean they changed the actual shoe!
Menu for today:
B- shredded wheat with banana
L- chicken breast with roasted veggies on the BBQ
D- TBD
I've decided I'm not going to go hog wild with my flex today. They're there if I need them, but I'm not going to have a huge meal today.

:(

For the first time ever in my relationship. I have been lied to. I have never felt so hurt.

I'm not even mad. I'm just unbelievably hurt and sad. I think I might take me a long time to get over this.

Another sun-shiney day!

Guess who dosn't want to be at work today? ME ME ME!
Guess who would rather be out in the sun? ME ME ME!

I'm feeling kinda frumpy today. I have nothing planned out for the day ethier. I threw my gym stuff in the car, and I'm having leftover salad for lunch.

B- 2 banana muffins, banana
L- chicken/strawberry/feta salad
D- Who knows. Maybe some pasta... i have some veggies to use up, and spaghetti sauce is the perfect way to get rid of them!

AP's: Perfect day for a run!

My first Goodlife experience

I'm Miss Post-a-lot tonight!
I did the Bodystep class tonight. TONS of fun.
The best part though: It was NEW! I'm looking forward to trying all their classes so I can shake up my workout routine! Yipee!
I'm full of energy tonight. The weather is amazing, and there's nothing better then crusing home with the sunroof open (first time this year!!) with the music blaring. :)

Salad Creation

Its been a while since I've posted a pic of my food! This is the salad creation I invented a couple of years ago and used to eat it pretty much EVERY single day for lunch. As a result, I quickly grew tired of it.. however this evening I ressurected this delicious creation.
Ingredients:
Spring mix, strawberries, red pepper, cucumber, red onion, 1/8 cup raisins, 1/4 light feta, raspberry vinaigrette.
I also had it with a chicken breast. 7 yummy points!

Non-WW related Wednesday afternoon mish-mash.

I must preface this post by declaring to all, how much I love Andrew and how incredibly happy he makes me.

Ok... so everyone has jumped on the Facebook bandwagon as of late.

Today my ex-bf added me.

Looking back... we weren't very serious. However, I fell HARD for this guy- He was the first guy that I had dated after losing a ton of weight. When he broke things off, I was completely and totally devastated. Of course in my mind, he broke up with me because I was fat. Real reason: he got back together with his ex. He really did nothing wrong except be honest with me. At the time we started seeing each other it was shortly after him and his ex had broken it off... turned out, he wasn't quite over her.

He was the first guy that made me feel pretty, attractive and sexy.

I sometimes have those "What-If" thoughts about him... He really is a great guy. But then I remember what an amazing man I have found, and actually comparatively speaking, Andrew and the ex have a lot of similar qualities!

Via Facebook stalking, I've discovered that Mr. Ex and his ex are getting married also. Funny how things work out! I've always been a firm believer that everything happens for a reason.... and once again its proven to be true!

*sigh*

Not making excuses....

BUT, I was only down .05 this morning. Kinda sucks eh? Its only my 2nd week back OP... but to be honest, I was never really THAT far OFF plan. I did have a couple handfuls of salty popcorn at the movies last night, and we had soup for supper. Could be retaining water?

Whatever. I'm over it. A loss is a loss.

Tuesday, April 17, 2007

Point form post: Short, sweet and to the point

1. I am going to go buy a box of Vector Cereal today to take advantage of the 20% off coupon at the Running Room. I'm due for some new shoes.
2. Andrew and I are going to see Blades of Glory tonight after work. I'm looking forward to it.
3. I feel so incredibly in love with that man lately. Its weird, but good weird, ya know?
4. Tomorrow is my 2nd WI in WW online. I did what I did last week. Stuck to my points, and used my flex only on the weekend. Ate no APs. Lets hope for a good loss again!
5. My Aunt, whom I just call "Aunt" and love to PIECES told me last night she was going to join WW... YAY!
6. She really is the best. Became my surrogate mother along with my gramma after my mom passed away.
7. Side thought: I think I would like to wear my Gramma's pearls at my wedding. Is it wrong to ask to borrow them from my aunt (not Aunt.. a bitchy Aunt on my mom's side)
8. Another side thought: What is your favorite low sodium meal?

Menu for today:

B- All bran, orange (3)
S- apple (1)
L- HUGE salad, 2 chicken strips, FF Catalina dressing (3) Peak Freans 100 Cal pack (2)
S- BM Granola bar (2)
D- I'm thinking some soup and grilled cheese...? Or maybe we'll grab some subway after the movie.

AP's: Ethier Turbo Jam, or a quick run.... no time for the gymbo tongiht.

Mother Nature....

...need I remind you this is April? Gah! Woke up this morning to 10cm of wet, heavy gross snow! My drive in was BRUTAL today. My knees were actually shaking. I've never been so happy to be at work ever!

Not much to report today.

Daily menu is as follows:
B: All bran, apple (3)
S: WW cake (1)
L: Soup with added zucchini (5), chocolate cravings (2)
D: TBD. We have lots in the house. I'll come up with something. I'm kinda craving chicken fingers and fries!

AP: Think I might take today off. We'll see.

Yummy Tid-Bit of Info:

I found these yesterday at Shoppers. I'm sure other brands are similar in points!

Cals: 50
Fat: 0.5g
Fibre: 0
TOTAL POINTS: 1!!

I won the PIZZA battle!

Well last night was interesting in many ways. Andrew and I were both feeling particularly tired so we decided to stay in and order take-out.

There is an amazing pizza that makes the most delicious pizza. Not like disgusting Pizza Pizza.... its to die for. Wedecided to order that. HOWEVER, here's were I win: I negotiated going for a walk before we even ordered. So out we went for an hour long walk! It was a beautiful night, and a great way to enjoy each others company. I did eat too much, but I had the points for it. I'm over it! I do feel kinda crappy today. Too much sodium last evening. Time to start the detox- ie chugging water!

I'm heading out for a wee run in a bit. I'll aim for 8-10k, but to my honest my ass is sooo sore from bootcamp yesterday... I suspect I'll only do 5. My other mission today consists of going to Goodlife to sign up for their 2 week trial. I cancelled my membership at my current gym yesterday. Andrew and I will go find a new gym closer to come this week. But, in the meantime I'll take advantage of the 2 week trial at Goodlife. I've always wanted to test out their classes. There aren't any here in Gatienau so I definately won't be signing up thats for sure. The whole point of finding a gym, is to find one close to home!

Menu for today hasn't been planned yet. I'll keep you posted!

Enjoy your Sunday!

Alas... the weekend

WOW. What a crazy week at work. Jeez. Who came up with the sterotype that gov't workers don't actually work? I was at work for 12 frickin' hours yesterday! Its amazing how much work you can get done when no one is there to bother you though!

I came home EXHAUSTED, but I forced myself to earn some AP's with the 45 minute Cardio Jam DVD. Felt good. Andrew and I enjoyed a lovely spaghetti dinner. And guess what? I measured out my portion. YAY me. 1 cup exactly! I fell asleep early, and was able to have a good sleep in today.. so I feel amazing!

Just got in from the gymbo where I did Boot Camp Class. Sheer torture, but I keep going back for more!

Not sure what I'll get up to today, but Andrew and I are having a well deserved date night this evening. We're going to test out a new restaurant. Not sure where yet, but I'll fill you in!

Menu is looking like this:
B- Shredded wheat, banana, skim milk
L- left over spaghetti
D- out with my lovah for dinner!

AP'S: Bootcamp class. Ouch. According to my online tracker I earned 9 points. Is that possible?

Its Frrrrriday!

Positive thoughts for today:
- Its Friday
- I didn't eat a SINGLE easter candy last night. They're hiding under the couch, and I even reached like 3 times. But talked myself out of it.
- Andrew made delicious saucy/greasy ribs last night. I measured them. 6oz exactly. Yay me.
- I did an hour of Turbo Jam last night.
- I also had an amazing sleep filled with good dreams, and a snuggly kitty cat!

Quasi-Negative thoughts for today
- Its Friday the 13th
- I have bought a large coffee every workday since Roll up the Rim started. I haven't won squat.
- Its snowing... AGAIN
- I'm starting to feel financially burdened by houses, bills and our wedding.

10 000 HITS!

A huge thank you to YOU.... my daily readers. Thanks for the laughs. the cries, the good times and bad. I can't believe how amazing you all are. A million times thank you!

Thursday morning thoughts:

1. Thanks for all your amazing comments. I feel 100% confident that I LOVE LOVE LOVE my new wedding dress.
2. I deleted all the old pics of the 1st dress so I will forget it forever.
3. Its snowing out today. WTF?
4. Andrew, being the amazing man that he is... got up and drove me in on his day off. Yep. I think i'll marry him!
5. I'm feeling pretty DARN good about WW Online. Its great. I really feel that I'll get rid of the weight this time... and what better motivation then a wedding dress?
6. Frig. Wedding thoughts are consuming my mind lately.
7. I didn't exercise yesterday. BAD me.
8. I did however measure out my dinner portions rather then eyeballing it.

Menu for today:
B- All Bran bar, banana (4)
S- coffee, coffee, coffee
L- Sausage Gumbo soup, added zucchini, and a chocolate cravings (7)
S- apple
D- I'm craving pasta
Desert: frozen yogurt

AP's: Turrrrrrrbo Jam.

Ok...i need some reassurance

Ladies. I own my wedding dress. I bought one VERRRY similar to my dream dress at a fraction ($799) of the cost of the one I had previously posted (1200). Its even the same designer.. Maggie Sottero.

I love it. I really do. BUT, I can't get the other dress out of the back of my head. I'm going to post a pic of me in the new dress... but I'll only leave this post up for a short time because i don't want Andrew to see!

Please gimme some reassurance that I still look pretty in it... Please.

I think I just feel a little shitty about it because I went by myself as my family isn't in the same city.... kinda sucked compared to the first time I went shopping with my fam and girlfriend.

I'm a grieving Habs fan....

...stuck in playoff hell - Ottawa. Where the whole city jumps on the bandwagon during the playoffs. I saw this today, and it made me giggle!

Here's a little story
About a hockey team
Who just may win the Stanley Cup
But only in their dreams

The team is from Ottawa
The Senators is their name
They're soon to be inducted in the golfing hall of fame

They think they'll take the Penguins
Now there's a funny joke
Cuz every year at playoff time
The Senators always choke

You better press your plaid pants
It's that time once again
To hear that familiar Ottawa Senators saying
"Tee off is at 10"

So three cheers for Ottawa
A real team they are nottawa
They can give all that they've gottawa
But the Stanley Cup will never go to Ottawa.

Feeling little today... :)

Yipee!

I lost 3 lbs this week... :)

I'll be back to post later, just had to get my good news out of the way!

WOOOO HOOOOOO!

Friggin' Ovaries

Despite being in AGONY with cramps... I earned some AP's today. I had planned to run, but i'm pretty much doubled over in pain. Instead, I walked my 5k route in 45 mins. Its a nice day, so I cranked the tunes and forgot about my pain for a while. Felt good!

Feels like Monday....

Well... I did it. I survived Easter weekend without going TOO overboard. Actually, I'm pretty sure I stayed 100% OP. Yipee! I even managed to get out for a power walk with my cousin on Sunday. She walks sooo fast... I woke up yesterday with sore legs. Kinda pathetic that I can run 10k no problem, but speed walking for an hour just about does me in!

Last night I had a bit of an episode with some chocolate, but I had a few flex points left... so they're no gone-zo. Tomorrow is my first WI on WW online, so today I shall eat well and chug lots of h2O!

Menu for today:
B: All bran bar, banana
L: fahita beef soup, with added steamed zucchini and FF sour cream
D: Healthy bake fish, oven fries, veggies
Desert: Frozen yogurt

AP's: Gonna get out for a run.. its nice and sunny out today!

My Meal

Homemade Chicken Potpie (Here ya go Mandy!)

8 oz. raw boneless skinless chicken breast; cut into bite-sized pieces
3 cups frozen mixed vegetables
1 can Reduced fat Cream of Celery soup
3 servings Pillsbury Reduced Fat Crescent Rolls (unprepared)

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Saute chicken pieces for several minutes in a pan spritzed with nonstick cooking spray, until chicken is light brown/cooked but still tender; set aside. Heat frozen veggies in microwave according to package. Mix chicken, vegetables and soup together and put in a 9" round baking dish sprayed with nonstick cooking spray. Place dish in oven and bake for about 30 minutes or until hot and bubbly (stir about halfway through). While dish is cooking, unroll 3 crescent rolls. Combine pieces together with hands to make one large ball of dough. With a rolling pin, roll dough out into a circle to cover top of dish. Add dough to the top of the dish and cook for an additional 15 - 20 minutes or until top is golden brown. Serves 4.
Serving Size: 1/4th pie (approx. 7 oz.)

*4 Points

* I added some canned corn since I had some in the fridge to use up
My SINFUL desert. Fresh pineapple, strawberries and banana with FF cool whip and melted chocolate icing on top. DELCIOUS!

I have a serious addiction to taking pictures of my food!

A sugar lovers DREAM breakkie.

Man, I need to be off every day! Got up early (tried my best to sleep in dammit!) and made some muffins. Enjoyed one with both margarine AND icicing, and 1 cup strawberries. DELICIOUS. Not really overly filling, but thats ok.
Because I'm home alone, I think it will be tricky to keep me AWAY from the fridge. I'm going to do a whack load of cleaning and just relax with Lewis. Andrew is home at 5:00 tonight. I miss him like crazy today for some stupid reason. I think it has a lot to do with all the mushy TV I've watched today. The movie Rent was on as I was waking up, so i watched the last half hour of that... then Dawsons creek, and now I've got a baby show on. GAH! I'm a mushball.
As much as I miss Andrew to pieces, I have to admit... i love days like this. Absolutely NOTHING to do except relax.
WW online is amazing. I can't believe I haven't discovered it before now. I haven't used a single flex point since joining! I suspect they will get used this weekend with Easter dinners.
Menu for today:
B- Chocolate chip banana bran, stawberries
L- sausage gumbo soup with zucchini
S- Edamame beans (if needed)
D- Homemade chicken potpie (I copied Sarah!)
Desert- fresh pineapple
AP's: Turbo Jam

Thoughts on fruit?

How much is too much? I tend to have a bit of a sweet tooth... and 9 times outta 10, I'll choose a piece of fruit to satisfy the craving.

On an average day... I'd guestimate that I have on average 3-4 servings a day. Is that too much?

Tell me what you think wise ones.... :)

Yay for looooong weekends!

Arrived to chocolate on my desk this morning. This is bad because:
1. Its Lindor.... creamy delicious lindor.
2. Its big. 3.5oz of solid delicious, creamy lindor chocolate
3. I have a rather large dinner planned.
4. I want to save my flex for this weekend.

Thats it. Said chocolate bunny is going in the drawer.

I drove in with Andrew this morning. We almost got hit on the way here. It was pretty scary actually. Friggin people changing lanes without looking. BRUTAL. The reason fro driving in with him, is that it will force me to exercise as he has to work later then I do.

Menu today is looking like this:
B- all bran bar, source yogurt (3)
L- sausage gumbo soup with zucchini, cheesecake (5.5)
S- Edamame Beans (1)
D- pizza- made from a crust from Costco. (13-14)
Desert - Strawberries with ULF coolwhip.

AP's: Haven't decided yet. I'll ethier run to Andrew's work, or hit the gymbo.

Wednesday, April 4, 2007

Yay me!

I got into lazy mode when I got home from work... Andrew left for basketball, and I could have just napped all evening.
BUT, I got my ass off the couch and did my Turbo Jam 45 min workout. YAY.
I have my running gear packed to run after work tomorrow. WOO HOO!
Off to watch Lost.... night!

Hump Day Menu

B- All bran bar, source yogurt (3)
L- Soup at hand, tomato sandwich, cheesecake (5)
S- Edamame Beans (1)
D- Chicken fingers, fries, brocoli (10)

AP's: Turbo Jam... or maybe I'll go to the gym when Andrew is at basketball.

I FEEL SO MOTIVATED!

Reality Check....

Ok... So despite having my scale for like 2 weeks now, up until this morning I hadn't stepped on it. I almost passed out when I saw the number, as I haven't seen a number like that in a LONG time.

I think I have some serious issues with denial.

Anyways... this prompted me to sign up for WW online, and holy frig! There's sooo many options! This will beat the meetings ANY day! WOOOOO HOOO!

My Costco Purchases

Ice Cream Treats! The Ice Cream Cone is 3 points, fudgicle is 2 points, ice cream bar is 2 points and the Creamsicle (my FAVORITE!!) is only 1 glorious point! And look at the size of the sucker.... pretty decent!
Cravings Cheescakes.... 1 point each. I buy them all the time at the grocery store, but I was pleased to see them at a little lower price; 8 for $8.99. At the grocery store they're $1.69 each.

My Menu thus far:

B- Grapes (2)
S- 2 chocolate cravings (4) BAD
L- kit from the grocery store that has carrots, celery and pumpernickle bread (4- I think)
S- bowl of cerela (starving AGAIN when I got home! 4)
D- Picked up the fixins to use the last of my egg roll wrappers, stir fry and rice. YUM. I love those friggin egg rolls. (2 egg rolls, 4 oz beef, and a ton of veggies with sauce 7 points total)
Desert: Strawberries

APs: Decided to be lazy.
Side thought: Do you think I eat too much fruit?

Trying to be in a better frame of mind today....

BUT
- None of my clothes fit right now
- I know I put on weight, but GAH... nothing looks good on me
- When I was a fat bastard, why did I never feel this unhappy in my skin?
- The other day when I was getting out of the tub I actually shuttered when I was my reflection in the mirror
- Do you think its possible your body becomes immune to exercise?
- I consider myself lucky... because I actually love to exercise. BUT lately, I'm just not seeing results. REGARDLESS of what I do!
- Mandy hit the nail on the head yesterday when she said that her BODY is in control. Mine likes where it is. But I hate where it is.
- Clearly its my weekend that is killing my quest to skinny.
- Non-WW related, but needs to be said: I HATE MY JOB.

Soup Alteration

Tonight as per Mandy's suggestion I kicked up my FAVORITE soup: Campbells Chunky Chicken and Sausage Gumbo. I added 1/2 cup milk and 2 cups steamed zuchinni. Topped it with some grated old cheddar, and tons of freshly ground pepper. To die for!

I served it with a grilled cheese made in the George Foreman (for more of a panini type sandwich) and some cesar sald. All in all, a great meal!

I detest you Monday

Its a rainy Monday morning here in Ottawa. I'm off to a rather spendid start. Ended up leaving my lights on for a SECOND time (this time in my car, last time in Andrews) CAA came to the rescue. Gah. I'm such an idiot!

Menu today is as follows:
B- grapes (1) All bran bites (1)
L- toasted tomato and turkey on WW bread (2) veggies and dip (2) chocolate craving (2)
S- leftover hamburger patty (3) Odd snack choice yes, but I was starving!
D- grilled cheese (5) soup (2) cesar salad (3)

Good thing about hangovers...

Is that I was so sick all day, that I only ate one meal... and what better meal to have then a hamburger on the grill!
